The hotel has the best location in all of Scopello. It's right in the center, just steps from the main square. Beautiful views from the restaurant and some rooms. It's a shame the hotel restaurant is closed in September, we would have loved to have dinner there. We had breakfast, but it wasn't worth the price. Overall, I highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly.

A stunning boutique hotel with beautiful staff and incredible views over Scopello! Right in the main town and only a short stroll to the incredible beaches! Exceptional value too

The hotel overall was very pretty and great location. The rooms were Italian styled and we had a nice balcony.
Staff was very helpful and the breakfast had an amazing view.
It might need a renovation but it was overall a very nice stay.

We stayed one night at Torre Bennistra and we were so glad that it was only for one night. The hotel is long overdue for a renovation. The room has very old furniture and barely any amenities. The AC didn’t work well. The only good thing about the hotel was the sea view. We didn’t have breakfast so I cannot say anything about it. The hotel staff was friendly, though and it is near to all the bars and restaurants.

The hotel is in a great location in Scopello with incredible views. We stayed here in late May 2025 and it felt weirdly like a ghost town, the entire place was deserted, the entire property is far outdated and most things in our room (and the common areas throughout the hotel) were probably the originals from back in the 60’s? There is so much potential in the location and the building but it desperately needs a revamp. There is A/C in the rooms but this did not work for our stay.

Very warm welcome, the owner is super kind and attentive. She creates an amazing atmosphere. The decoration of the hotel in general and rooms in particular makes you thinking that you are in a family house. The breakfast is impressive especially at the very symbolic price.

A beautiful family run hotel with a breathtaking view on the sea. The rooms are cozy and clean. The highlight is the view from the terrace while having an excellent dinner. Remarkable was the great service and the unusually courteous staff, which fulfills almost every wish at breakfast :-). A hotel as you would imagine in Sicily. Thank you. We will come back.

Had a great dinner there on the terrace overlooking the tonnara of scopello. Strong selection of food in particular fish based one which is cooked to perfection. Had a nice bottle of iced grillo white wine and the service provided by lovely host Pina was second to none. Highly recommended for a romantic date if you are in the vicinity

The place is a bit old fashioned and very quiet (not to say boring) compared to the warm atmosphere of the numerous restaurants in the streets and places nearby in the town of Scopeo. The food is ok but nothing exciting.

It was the best hotel in our Sisily holiday. Fantastic sea view from the room & very responsive hotel staffs. It was a good choice to stay in Torre Bennistra in Scopello for our last destination in Sisily, where we could finally meet warm hearted people. Wish we could stay longer there.

I was very disappointed in my stay.
The good: the room and bathroom were very clean and nice. The staff at the desk were very kind and welcoming. A short walk to the village. Peaceful.
The bad: I paid a lot of extra money to book a place with a pool and inclusive breakfast. The food at breakfast looked absolutely inedible and was a huge disappointment. I know the Italians really only do pastries and espresso for breakfast but after traveling for so long I really just wanted some scrambled eggs which looked green and old. In addition, i paid a lot of extra money to book the hotel because of their pool. It is a really beautiful spot. However it had not been vacumned for many days and was dirty. I didn’t see anyone testing the chlorine the whole time I was there. I didn’t dare get in it. Another huge disappointment. Will not visit again.
Updated to respond to hotel’s comment: Yes, I absolutely stayed at the hotel in September. Also, i did not pay an additional fee for the pool —it was included with the room. However, I could have booked a stay much more inexpensively at another establishment without breakfast or a pool. I tried to speak with the owners directly while I was at the hotel and got brushed off. Other reviews mention the uncleanliness of the pool and poor breakfast. Not just me. Improve these things and you could have a wonderful 4 star hotel.

Wonderful wonderful place. Myself and my girlfriend (at the start of the holiday) loved our stay here in September 2025.
I had planned to propose to her on our second night and Giorgia and the team were SO SO helpful. They gave amazing recommendations on restaurants and helped me plan the location for the proposal. As well as offering extra amenities the day after.
The pool was amazing rooms spacious and clean, local beaches and restaurants were fabulous. The location is brilliant.
We had a magical 8 day stay - and will certainly be coming back, Scopello is like something out of a movie, such a lovely place.

We loved our stay at Baglio dello Zingaro! Very comfortable, close to everything and parking is extremely convenient. The breakfast was 10/10 as well as the service. Everyone is so kind and helpful!

Met expectations however still room for improvements; breakfast is in lower range but still not bad. Pool area is beautiful with nice beds and sunscreen, some refreshments for sale, however it was rather noisy and water quality in pool seemed unpleasant

The structure is practically new, very clean and tidy.
