Bed Breakfast Corte Kampanes in Gallipoli

The B&B is in an excellent position in the historic center of the old part of Gallipoli, in the ZTL area but a few steps from the port where you can park your car.
Upon arrival we were allowed to enter the ZTL to unload the luggage after having communicated the license plate to the structure.

The staff are really nice, helpful and efficient.

The recently renovated structure is really beautiful, a huge room that has been wisely renovated while maintaining the typicality of the place and mixing a touch of modernity.

The excellent breakfast, buffet with fresh and quality products, served in the beautiful outdoor common terrace.
(In our case we had a room with a private balcony and we could bring breakfast to the room), which is very appreciated for having a little more intimacy.

Unfortunately, everything is ruined by details that in my case were really not insignificant.
The bedroom had a window and a French window both with a simple transparent curtain, at 6 in the morning the room was brightly lit and from that time it was impossible for me to sleep.

The mattress looked like a concrete slab, truly one of the most uncomfortable mattresses ever tried.

The rooms were not soundproofed at all, another guest in a common room could be snored heavily and guests who wake up earlier in the morning and those who set up breakfast seem to have them in their room.

Really a shame, a structure that could easily have five stars gets lost in these details that are in part easily solved.
