Great b and b in Lecce! It’s in the center of town, but on a quiet street so it’s more secluded, the room is quaint and comfortable, and has access to a shared terrace. I was able to drop my bags and check in early which was super kind. They also provide cold water, tea and coffee. Recommend it highly!

Antiche Volte is one of five hotels / B&Bs managed by the same consortium of young professionals in Lecce. I have stayed in Antiche Volte twice and another once, and on each occasion I was deighted by the experience. I recommend this group of B&Bs very strongly. In both locations the rooms were spacious and immaculate: they were cleaned every day and the bed and towels were changed regularly. There were plenty of pwer sockets in sensible places - by tables and by the bed - so that re-charging devices was easy. The staff were friendly and informal, and always available to advise or sort out problems. While staying at Antche Volte in June 2024 I had a minor accident, and the staff were very helpful in arranging for me to go to the local (excellent) hospital for a check-up (free in Italy! I didn’t realise that). I can reccomend Antiche Volte without hesitation and I hope to be back there in 2025.

Booked the hotel with almost 2 months advance. Less than 24 hours before check in, while we were travelling through Italy we were called saying that the property had some overbooking from some large group, and so we had to be moved to another property, that was further from the city center, and not the bnb that we chose.
Although we complained both directly and through the booking app (that we used to reserve and that had blocked our money as this was a non refundable booking) we were told that either we accepted this solution or we had to find a different accomodation last minute.
Not recommended.

I consider it a privilege to have stayed here. Elissa is such a nice person who makes an awesome breakfast, and the room was great. Best place we stayed on our honeymoon.

The B&B is in a perfect position in Old Town (close to the center, but not on a crowded street). It has huge rooms and the best interior design I've ever seen in a B&B, which makes you feel like home (great attention to even the smallest detail, everything gives you a country-like vibe).
Breakfast is insanely plentiful and everything in it is fresh (you get fresh local pastries every day), with great attention to specific needs (like vegetarians, vegans or allergies).
Last but of course not least: Elisa. Simply the best host you could ever imagine: incredibly kind, talkative when you feel like talking, helpful when you need it and, overall, just very, very careful.
B&B Antiche Volte certainly adds to your experience in Lecce, ending up being such a big part of it that it becomes a big factor if you might consider going back one day.

A really comfortable and well furnished bed and breakfast with a delightful host and a wonderful breakfast with homemade pastries. The en suite room was really well thought out and seemed to be newly refurbished. The location is fantastic, inside the old city walls and convenient for everything!

Bed and breakfast. You get a bed and you expect a breakfast with fresh products especially when you are in the heart of the mediterranean. Fresh bread, cheese, olives, fruits...not at all. Not just coffee and long expire date packaged products (bread for toast, sweet yoghurts and marmellades). These I can get from the nearest supermarket and in the cheapest hostel.
