Our experience at Tenuta la Baronessa was outstanding from start to finish. The entire team, from the manager to the housekeeping staff, was exceptionally professional, kind, and always greeted us with a smile. Their constant willingness to assist made our stay truly enjoyable and worry-free.

The culinary experience was another highlight of our visit. Each day, the chef prepared authentic regional dishes of the highest quality, offering us not only delicious meals but also a refined journey through the flavors and traditions of the area.

We sincerely thank the whole staff for their dedication, warmth, and attention to detail. Tenuta la Baronessa combines excellent service, genuine hospitality, and an unforgettable gastronomic experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, authenticity, and a truly memorable stay.

Overpriced for what it has. Do not dine at the restaurant, the food is terrible. Several other options in the area with much better value.

Stayed in June with a large family - as expected on the pictures and description! Great large hotel garden with farm (bourses, cows, fruit garden, Olive Garden), nice pool with palms abs sun beds in the shadow. Calm! No music in the pool which is GREAT! We really enjoyed calm stay in the estate of 17th century! Apartment is in fact a sletate house in a form of white Apulia cheese - nice design ; anti moscito nets, air condition - perfect!
What can be better? Breakfast - buffet, but guests eat it very fast, so you won’t get your egg with bacon already at 8.30 (it opens at 7.45). No vegetables - maybe to add at least tomato’s typical for Solento? And self-service for coffee/tea will be better since guests don’t need to ask for another cofee or tea (they are in a very small cups).
Otherwise, people are very friendly. Good value for memet, will come again ; thank you!

It's second time for my family to stay in this Resort and that explains a lot. Not just the apartment but the whole place is huge. The swimming pool is quite big and well managed. Indeed, i saw salvataggio guy keeps cleaning the pool and the sunbed all day whenever he can. He managed whole place very diligently. I also loved to stay in the swimming pool bar with some cocktail. Staff at the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and kind. Every evening, we could take a walk in the resort looking at the horses and cows. Since it's long way to walk, it's good to bring kid's monopattino(scooter). It would help kids to move to the restaurant from the apartment for the breakfast. Talking about breakfast, quality is quite good. You don't see the hot meal such as eggs and bacon on the table but you can order as you like. Overall, my family especially my kids were very happy to stay here and we will definitely come back here again.

Everything was wonderful. The staff took excellent care of us from arrival to departure. We received good recommendations for dinner. The hotel rooms and territory are very clean and well cared. We started to miss the hotel and the staff as soon as we left. We will definitely come back here.

Considering the summer temperature, I decided to book at this property for the first weekend of October with the intention of spending a day at the pool with my family as an alternative to the sea. I called on Tuesday the 3rd, three days before arrival, specifically asking if the pool could be used and the reception manager replied yes. On Saturday the 7th we arrived at the property and after paying and checking in we were told that the swimming pool was "closed". After a few minutes of confusion (we were already in our swimsuits), the manager with whom I had spoken on the phone arrived, telling us that the swimming pool could not be used due to a "sudden" fault that they had not been able to repair (cit. "today is Saturday and no one comes"). The alternative proposed was to go to the sea at one of their partner beaches. I don't manage a tourist facility but if I did, my first thought, in the event that a service such as the swimming pool were to be missing (whether it's July or October), would be to call the people who have booked a stay or at least inform them once you arrive at the facility... before paying. Given the state of the water similar to that of a pond it makes me think that the failure was not so "sudden" and that the pool has certainly been closed for more than three days... ruined weekend and terrible experience.

Really great spot that epitomizes the south west of Puglia. Lovely old buildings that have been renovated. Great pool. Unfortunately this was out of action the day we wanted to use it, but I still had a dip in the bambino pool! Horses surround the property too, so day hello. Great, grand main building too, with a lovely Edra lounge in the entrance, and frescos all throughout. Definitely worth a stay!

The estate is very large and is located in a quiet area a few kilometers from Gallipoli; convenient for reaching the main routes for a traveling holiday. The common areas are well kept, starting from the large gardens to the rooms and the swimming pool. Large swimming pool with small children's pool. Rooms more of form than substance. Those in the hotel are good, those in the Pajare are less refined and not perfectly maintained. Breakfast of good quality and assortment. Negative point is the service at breakfast and dinner. Slow, confusing and above all.... it is not possible to use staff who do not speak Italian and understand English badly and poorly... Much better are the girls at the reception who are available and courteous. Near the structure there is a riding school that offers the possibility of doing some horseback riding. I would say the structure is valid overall, excellent for those who want the possibility of getting around while avoiding the chaos of the coast.
