Palazzo Mosco in Gallipoli

The hotel is within a converted house. It feels like a few houses were connected together to make enough space. Since this is a conversion, the rooms don't really fit their current purpose. Our room only had two tiny windows in the bathroom, not in the main room and one couldn't look outside at all. The bathroom was shaped like a long narrow tube, and thus not practical at all. The main room was very small as well.
Another issue can be the sound. Although most nights all guests kept it very low, one can hear a lot throughout the hotel. That may cause a lot of trouble for others.

The hotel shines with its service. Both the receptionist staff and the breakfast staff are very helpful and polite. For instance they booked beach transfers for us and made sure we got spots at their partner beach, even though we were sometimes late with our requests.

The breakfast is plentiful for an Italian hotel. It's very sweets/pastry focused but also has a few savory options. I would prefer a crunchier bacon or sausages instead but that's about it.
Lastly, the hotel should consider putting up umbrellas on the sundeck. Otherwise it's just unbearable during the August heat

Upon arrival we were greeted in the street and walked into the hotel, by a very friendly staff member.
We then discovered a very clean, very Italian styled, lots of cool marble, and cactus, a beautiful hotel. Rooms are cool with aircon.
As celebrating our first wedding anniversary they had thoughtfully decorated our room, with a personalised message, balloons, rose petals, a beautiful fresh bouquet and bottle of fizz in an ice bucket.
Beds were very comfy, and the quiet location gave a good nights sleep.
Shower and bathroom are clean and bright.
breakfast was fresh and plentiful. A huge array offered.

Very helpful & friendly staff. Suggest the parking option be included on first communication with customers. Appreciate the pickup and drop off from parking.

We checked out today and loved this baroque style grand hotel. We had 2 rooms both very different, however equally as nice. Agnes and Rebecca couldn’t do enough to please us. Fabulous staff and service. I would certainly recommend the location is right in the old town and perfect

Mauro, the host at Mosco Inn, is the most hospitable and kind, the property is top notched and fill of little details that provide for entertainment and conversation with thebother guests, rooms ar spacious, clean and very well maintained, we definetly will be coming back!

Fantastic, very service minded and professional staff. Great breakfast and fantastic rooms.

We loved our stay at Palazzo Mosco Inn, the staff made us feel SO well looked after — in particular, Agatha who made us beautiful breakfasts; Agnes, in charge of the customer experience, who was on top of everything; Alexandra who was so friendly and had fab suggestions. There were two front of house staff members with dark hair whose names we didn’t catch but who were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean. We had a jacuzzi on the rooftop on an overcast morning. The hotel was conveniently close to the beach — for those on a budget, we would recommend Al 123 for pizza and polpo sandwiches, and the Primavera deli for a bottle of wine. Agatha was a good place for a meal, or Gnomi in the new town. There is a cafe on the corner with ‘grotto’ in its name, try the Crema Plomber ice cream! Thanks once again to the staff of Palazzo Mosco Inn for such a beautiful stay x
