Antico Palazzo Spinola in Gallipoli

We stayed 1 night here in Gallipoli and can say it was a nice experience. As an introduction we were shown the place by the owner explaining some of its history. It is only a 10 minuite walk to Gallipoli old town. The building has quite a lot of antique furniture which give its charm to this buiding. Cleanliness all around. It feels a bit like walking in a museum in a nice way.

A historic early 20th-century building in the station square, just steps from Gallipoli's main street and the historic center, recently renovated while maintaining its original style, with frescoed rooms, period furniture, and numerous paintings on the walls.
On the first floor, a large terrace overlooking the sea is where breakfast is served when the weather is nice. Breakfast is always varied, plentiful, and made with excellent products: traditional Salento pastries, focaccia, savory pies, yogurt, fruit, and more.
The owners, Desiree and Giovanni, are friendly and welcoming, always ready to offer excellent advice on restaurants and things to see, or share anecdotes about local life.
In short, they have all the ingredients for a pleasant stay.

Wonderful one night stay in this beautiful old Building. Very comfortable room with views over the sea. 10 min walk to the old town and plenty of free parking outside.
The highlight was the fantastic breakfast with homemade cakes and pastries. Very deserving of 5 star reviews . Thank you to the very friendly owners for their excellent hospitality.

Amazing breakfasts, fabulous staff, and beautiful rooms, building, and terrace. We will absolutely stay here again. I’m so glad I read other reviews that raves about this place because they were accurate. It’s a great place to stay.

Nice old house and friendly hosts.
A small and cosy hotel. Like beeing in someones home. Very friendly hosts and nice breakfast. Few meters from statione, city center and oldtown. Nice sea view. A pleasant stay.

A great location and a wonderful unit and building. Near train station, lots of free parking. Most importantly the owners are splendid hosts. The lady of the house is joyful and a great pastry chef. Our breakfast was one the top. Amongst the offering was her home baked fresh apple cake. We could not eat all the food and where given our lunch with tin foil to wrap. Stayed at a lot of B&Bs put this one on your list.

Perfectly located with loads of free parking outside. Lovely family owned building with loads of history and a lovely story. Breakfast was stunning. All homemade pastries and cakes to each table. In a lovely square with restaurants and bars and a half hour walk to the old town. Perfect.

Excellent. Location right next to the train station.10 mins to old port and 10 mins to bus station for summer cotrap buses to various locations inc Santa Maria di leuca and Lecce via Porto Cesaro. Hosts were very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. Stayed 3 nights and would stay again. Views from breakfast terrace were amazing.Thank you for a great stay.

The rooms are a Lovely step back in time yet w modern bathroom/shower convenience. Wonderful breakfast.

We spent one night in Gallipoli. Easily found the hotel. We were met by a very friendly woman who spoke excellent English. The room was interesting, very clean and had a view of the water. We had nice weather so breakfast was on the terrace and this was absolutely amazing! Fresh cakes (still warm!!), delicious fruit, excellent coffee and very friendly service! We even got to take extras with the us. It was a wonderful experience!
