Grand Hotel Costa Brada in Gallipoli

The hotel is just outside Gallipoli and you can stay there without a needing car if you plan to stay mostly in the hotel. The building itself has been renovated to a good standard. The rooms are functional if a little plain and they are angled so that each room has a balcony, but this makes the shape of the room feel angular. The staff are nice. The food is OK but not great. The biggest disappointment is the beach. You have to walk a long, long way into the sea for the water to cover your legs. This was a major disappointment and put me off visiting again. Adjacent beaches apparently have great swimming but unfortunately not at the Costa Brada. The rooms are clean, in fact they have a little sign under the bed to show guests how clean the floor is!

I love this hotel and have been there a few times. Everything is good, the service, the food, the incredibly beautiful sea in front of it. On this occasion I would like to write and praise in particular two gentlemen amongst the staff: Giuseppe , the manager of the breakfast and lunch hall and Louis, the manager at the bar in the Lobby. Both Giuseppe and Louis are incredibly professional, efficient, cordial. Many thanks to them for having made our holiday so much more pleasant. Louis, my two cousins enjoyed the Coffee you made for them in the afternoons, very very much.

An amazing hotel and staff in a gem part of Italy. The sandy beach and the emerald sea color made this holiday an amazing experience. The hotel food is great and the rooms are clean. All in a must seen. Gallipoli vecchia is lovely for evening walks and food! A special thanks to the best Barman Mauro for the amazing G&T at sunset!

Hotel lobby bar and more so Louis. This gentleman is the reason I would return. Friendly and curious beyond words! I could not thank him enough. His suggestions were without fail.Our friends that arrived late were not forgotten and treated equally as nice. Oh ya , beautiful beach which was very clean and lots of staff to help with any request.

An absolute gem . One of the best hotel I have been in Italy . Every thing is beautifully decorated, very calming , extremely clean, the decor is amazing . The beach is stunning . The staff is unbelievably kind and very professional and cannot do enough to make you happy . From Gilda at the reception to the extra knowledgeable and kind Annarita at the spa, the waiters and everyone are wonderful. We had a stunning room with terrasse and the view was breathtaking. We were half board and the food was delicious Overall we have spent an incredible week meeting and my mum and we will be back . Thank you . It should be a five star.

We left Trentino to visit the wonderful Salento, we found ourselves in Gallipoli and were looking for the best hotels in the area, including the Costa Brada. As soon as we entered this hotel we were immediately amazed and delighted by the kindness with which we were greeted. Eliana at the reception immediately found us a room on the third floor and provided us with all the necessary information about the hotel. Spacious room, side sea view and welcoming (extra attention to cleaning 😉). The hotel's private beach, equipped with all necessary services. We chose the bed and breakfast formula. For breakfast, the only thing I think could be improved is the bar service (cappuccino, coffee, etc.). Sometimes it happened that my order arrived while I was finishing it... in general, the rest was great! We have also included discounts in the spa which includes: sensory shower, sauna, Mediterranean bath, steam room, jacuzzi and a swimming pool with a glass window overlooking the sea from which you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets! The girls at the resort were distinguished by kindness and professionalism that we had never encountered before! Congratulate everyone! Particularly to the girl who checks in (who gave us clear and detailed information) and the girl who gave me a beautiful and relaxing massage! In short, if we return near Gallipoli, I will definitely stay in Costa Brada again! Super recommended, thanks for an amazing experience
