The location offers stunning views of the Campania coast, the Aragonese Castle, and the port of Ischia. The staff is friendly and helpful. We chose a suite with an excellent breakfast. The room was spacious and had a breathtaking view. Even the breakfast, served by the maitre d', was plentiful and offered a wide selection. We also dined in the restaurant with its refined atmosphere and enjoyed a superb dinner. The spa offers a full range of beauty treatments, including mud therapy, under the guidance of Anna, a very kind and professional therapist. We have stayed at this charming hotel several times and will definitely return. We highly recommend it.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for 8 days. The service was impeccable, from reception to the restaurant, housekeeping, the beach, and the thermal pools. First of all, we thank Maitre Dario and his colleagues Fabio and Emanuela, who were so kind and helpful beyond their expectations. Their customer service is truly EXCELLENT! The food is delicious, varied, and high-quality. The view from the hotel is priceless, a true paradise! Excellent value for money for a stay in Ischia, just steps from the center! Furthermore, upon arrival, we were upgraded to a more comfortable room than expected! They really know how to pamper their guests! Thank you again and see you soon!

We loved Le Quence on our honeymoon! Ischia is such a sweet and not over touristic island. It is just our style and will be back for sure. Le Quence was really nice, our room had great views. Management arranged a rental car delivery which was perfect (i wanted to rent a scooter and glad we didn't!!!). Our room view was awesome and breakfast was good. The pool and spas were nice and the beach pier quite rustic.

What a beautiful island resort! We were there September 2025 and the weather and environment was fantastic! The room was spacious and offered a breathtaking ocean view! They also have a sundeck platform that extends into the ocean. You will climb down around 97 steps to reach it! The in house safe wasn't programmed but we worked around this. Highly recommend this hotel!

The suite was gorgeous. The thermal pools were delightful as was the staff. The dinner was delicious and so was breakfast. We loved walking down to the ocean and swimming off the dock. The views were incredible!

This hotel is in the perfect location set above Ischia port with views over Procida, the mainland and Vesuvius. Yes you'll have a 10-15 minute walk into town but it's worth every step. On reception Joe and Anna could not do enough to share local knowledge and help me organise my week. Anna helped me plan a walk up Mt Epomeo and Joe guided me to a coastal morning run. Dario and the restaurant team made my heart sing with personal, friendly service and amazing breakfast. The rooms are traditionally Italian with patterned tiles and it's a bit dated but immaculately clean - it's not Premier Inn and so much better for it. As a solo traveller I felt part of a little family at Le Querce and very much hope to be back soon.

We recently stayed at this hotel. Some of the people working there were very pleasant. However, generally, we were extremely disappointed. First, though a welcome drink is listed in their description, we were not offered one. When we arrived, we were not permitted to enjoy any of the hotel amenities. Upon checking in, which was around 1830, no one told us that the amenities would not be available to us. We started to enter the pool, but a worker yelled at us in front of the other patrons, indicating the pool was closed. That is how we found out that the amenities were not available to is. Also, upon checking in, we were told we could reserve dinner or order a la carte. But almost immediately, we were told the meal service was not available to us. As the evening wore on, we watched other patrons enjoy their meals among empty tables. We are unclear as to why the meal service was not available to us. We feel perhaps there is a reason we were being treated in this way. Also, the hotel boasts a private beach area, when, in reality, they do not have a beach area. The balcony in the room did not have any type of view, only plants and satelite dishes that disrupt the view of the sea. I have stayed in many extraordinary accommodations around the world. This is not one of them.

If I were to use just one word to describe this hotel, it would be tired. While the reviews I saw were generally positive, they probably did not stay in the room I stayed in. Mine was best described as spartan. It didn’t have a single wall decoration at all. The furniture was bare, consisting only of a bed, a tiny desk with a small chair, a mini fridge that was so loud I had to unplug it at night to sleep, and an armoire that even IKEA would not have sold 30 years ago. The bathroom was tiny as well. The shower was no more than 2‘ x 3‘ so I’d have to turn the water off to lather up and shampoo. Worse, the bathroom is a step down which is very dangerous at night. The first night when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom I didn’t remember and fell. I was lucky not to get hurt. If you stay there, put a towel or something outside the door to jog your memory of the step. There was no usable Wi-Fi in the room, I had to go out to the terrace to use the Wi-Fi the signal was so weak. Even there it cut out. The only thing weaker was the A/C, even cranked up all the way. None of the photos I saw online came close to looking like this room looked like, even the most basic room type that they advertised. The front desk insisted it was the room I booked. And since I had prepaid, there’s little I could do. The front desk also gave me misinformation about the Poseidon garden. So I had to rent a towel there instead of bringing my own from the hotel. They said they were included. (And bring a shower cap or buy that too). I had lunch once at the pool. Overpriced spaghetti with seafood that was clearly frozen was a disappointment. The pool area itself was fine as well as the dock/beach area, which is a long walk down many many steps. But don’t dare ask for an extra towel to dry off. Strict one/person. Breakfast was included and mediocre compared to my other stays this trip. Good cappuccino though. Italy has a lot of old tired hotels like this. It’s a reason the air bnbs have become popular. I would not stay again. If you do, be wary of booking the basic room class. If they insist this is a four-star hotel, then I guess we just have different standards. Look at the photos and judge for yourself. In fairness, my photos were taken when I left; the bed was made when I checked in and the room was well cleaned everyday.

This was our second visit to Ischia Island—last year we stayed in Ischia town centre. This hotel is absolutely beautiful; the grounds are well maintained, and it has a friendly, quintessentially Italian feel. We stayed for two weeks and didn’t pay extra for an upgraded room, but we were very happy with ours. It was at the front of the hotel with a partial sea view. The room was cleaned daily, and the air conditioning was perfectly crisp and cool, without being too noisy. Breakfast offered a great selection of food; however, it didn’t seem to follow much of a “system”—it’s very much a case of finding your own seat and flagging someone down if you’d like a coffee! It felt like they might be a little understaffed. On a few mornings when we arrived slightly later, some items weren’t replenished—something to keep in mind. The pool area is perfect. I swam most mornings, and the terrace offers stunning views over the sea. The menu is varied but not particularly tailored to lunch—we ended up eating the same meals for much of our two-week stay. With no shops nearby, there aren’t really other food options. That said, the food quality was great, and the staff were always lovely. The beach/platform is absolutely fantastic—arguably one of the hotel’s main selling points. It has a wonderfully relaxed vibe and never felt too crowded (perhaps thanks to the 280 steps down, which deter many!). The platform itself is basic. The “beach attendant” is a teenage boy who mostly sits in a chair all day and, if pressed, can provide a cold bottle of water. On occasion, the toilets could have used a quick clean or a restock of toilet paper, but this didn’t seem to be a priority. I do think the hotel should be more attentive here. It also gets quite windy on the platform—which is lovely when you’re sunbathing—but the parasols aren’t sturdy enough for the gusts. While we were there, two people were hit by flying parasols, and one even ended up in the sea! The hotel’s spa facilities were great. We didn’t have any treatments, but we were impressed with the pool and other amenities. The only real downside for us was the hotel’s distance from town. Although there’s a shuttle service, the last departure is around 7pm, which was too early for our liking. As a result, we ended up walking to and from town each night. The road is noisy and polluted, so the walk isn’t exactly pleasant. As mentioned, the nearest shop is by the port—which isn’t ideal when you’re spending over €3 a day on a small bottle of water at the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a gem. There are a few things that could be improved, but I’d still definitely recommend it.

Lovely week away which we booked with Citalia, well organised we were picked up from Naples airport and met by Citalia representative to take us to the port, another representative directed us to the queue for the ferry they took our cases and these were taken on board so all we had to do was get on the ferry amongst all the other people and their cases! 50 minute ferry ride and we were met by another Citalia representative and taxis to our hotel. Our room 210 was disappointing as the view was a partial sea view with mainly a brick wall to look at. We were luckily enough to change rooms the next day to 703 which had a fabulous view. There are a lot of steps in this hotel. We did go down to the pontoon one day which had 286 steps down and then back up! It was all in the shade and you can take your time. Once down there is a ladder so you can get into the sea and there is a bar but offering limited drinks , beer and soft drinks, no wine. Location wise it is great as you can go to Forio by bus which was lovely, although the buses aren’t that regular, but very cheap. We also took a boat trip with Captain Morgan to St Angelo island which was lovely, small but there’s not much time to spend there looking around the shops, having a drink, let alone sunbathing on the beach. I could have gone back there for another day it was so pretty! We did walk down to the port on our first day it was extremely hot and there was no shade and we did struggle 😮‍💨 Stupidly we walked back up having had lunch, I wouldn’t recommend in 30+ degrees of heat. We did eat out down at the port, we caught the hotel mini bus and the local bus back which is very cheap, the hotel last bus back was 7.10pm. At the port there are so many restaurants to choose from and it’s great to watch the expensive boats all moored up. We did eat at the hotel a couple times for lunch but found the menu limited for light options, and the evening menu didn’t seem to change. Overall we had a lovely time and glad we stayed in Ischia, for those with mobility issues would struggle. Friendly staff including Joe, Norma, Anna, Davido, Federica, Manuela.
