Regina Isabella-Resort Spa Restaurant in Ischia Town

We booked the hotel without ever hearing about it, it looked nice on the web and the reviews read well. All that said you never know what somewhere is really going to be like. WOW, what a great place, from the moment we were picked up from the port we knew it was going to be good. The hotel is in a beautiful position, at the end of the town and very quiet. The first view we had from the main restaurant is superb, blue see and the view across the Bay of Naples. Our room was clean, well furnished and with a view to die for. What really makes RI stand out are the staff, Raffael the concierge is outstanding, manages everything and anything. Everybody makes you feel special, it is all very genuine and so nice. We stayed on a half board basis, food is so good and presented beautifully. The hotel has a great spa complex and a gym that is way above what hotels usually have. So much to recommend but the service for me was the outstanding memory.

Fantastic vacation from start to finish! Arriving on a private boat to the hotel dock is priceless! Shout out to our captain Davide who made the experience great! Also, a big thank you to Salvio Di Scala, restaurant manager, for taking such good care of us during our stay!! Keep those martinis coming!! First time in Ischia and at the Regina Isabella. A wonderful, stylish and hospitable old world Italian style hotel. The food was delicious especially the breakfast and lunch buffets, which had a wonderful display and variety of dishes. Waiters were attentive and the reception staff were charming. Wonderful crisp linen throughout the hotel. Which exude luxury and quality. Beautiful views and all in all a perfect relaxing week. We will definitely return!!

This is our fifth year running visiting Regina Isabella, with stays ranging from four nights on our first visit to two weeks on the most recent one. The hotel is a beautiful property right on the water, and the water experience itself may be the best available anywhere on the Med - if what you're after is an old-fashioned, authentic Italian seaside experience. I'd estimate half the guests are repeat visitors, many coming for 40+ years and staying the entire summer. These repeat guests are, without exception, charming and friendly. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are large, and the views are gorgeous. If I had to name the five features that earn the fifth star, they'd all be people: - The front desk, led by Davide, is welcoming and helpful without fail. - The restaurant, Restaurant Major-domo Salvio, makes every meal memorable in the most Italian way - every request handled with real professional enthusiasm, and a wait staff that couldn't be more charming. - Maurizio, Chief Lifeguard and unofficial mayor of the seaside lounges, runs his team so well that the whole day is stress-free. There's no morning sprint to claim a lounge here - Team Maurizio manages it for you. - The kitchen delivers an outstanding breakfast buffet, the best club sandwich and hamburger in Italy for casual fare, and genuine fine dining at The Sporting Club for lunch and the main dining room for dinner. Special requests are handled beautifully - I ordered Tomahawk steaks for a celebration dinner that rivaled any NYC steakhouse. - The bar, led by Mariano, makes cocktails "just right," and knows how to build a Martini that will make you cry. If one word defines the Regina Isabella, it's kindness. Before we left, the owner personally thanked me for our fifth visit and our continued loyalty. My wish is that Regina Isabella never changes. But as *Il Gattopardo* reminds us: for things to stay the same, everything must change.

This was a very successful experience, and all ladies came back extremely happy. The principal especially loved it and said that, in terms of service, guest accommodation, and the Roman bath experience, this was her favorite spa we have visited so far. The Roman bath area was definitely the highlight. The privacy made it very comfortable for the group to relax and enjoy everything together. The facilities included a sauna, steam room, several thermal pools and plunges, relaxation areas, and a really unique multisensory walkthrough shower that ended up being one of the girls’ favorite features. The main pool was around body temperature and had several hydrotherapy jets, which is where the ladies spent most of their time. There was also a beautiful warmer bath tucked off to the side with relaxing blue lighting, which was personally her favorite, along with separate warm and cold plunges. The service was what really stood out. Upon arrival We requested fruit platter, pastries and desserts, coffee, tea, and Prosecco they were able to provide this and all was wonderful. our client especially loved the pastries. They were very attentive throughout the experience. This was a very thoughtful touch and made the experience even more comfortable for them. Overall, The ladies had a wonderful day, and considering how last-minute everything was arranged, we were extremely happy with how it all came together.

What really stood out at Regina Isabella was the service. The staff always remembered us and were so helpful and friendly. We loved laying out on the jetty and the food at the restaurant by the pool was some of the best we had during our stay. Breakfast was also incredible. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again!

The Regina Isabella was the first stop on our honeymoon and it was so hard to leave! David and the rest of the team made our honeymoon stay feel so special - the hotel is absolutely stunning with the best seaside views for lounging and swimming. We had water front massages, and dinner on site at the Michelin Star restaurant. Such an incredible experience -- we won't be staying anywhere else when we come back.
