Hotel Miramare E Castello in Ischia Town

Great boutique hotel overlooking the castle. I have been staying here many times with family events hosted. The staff and warmth is always amazing. You can just sit here all day enjoying sun sand and the italian hospitality that no kne can match.

Miramare e Castello is in a stunning location right on the water, with truly breathtaking views! The area is perfect — close to fantastic restaurants and great shopping. The hotel bar was such a fun spot, and Bar Manager Geraldo and pianist Pepe made us feel completely at home. We really enjoyed spending time with them — Geraldo was exceptionally helpful, offering great recommendations and helping us get the lay of the land. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Great property, the staff is amazing. The amenities with a bar a restaurant and Hot Springs at their sister hotel. This is all within walking distance. It’s like being in a little movie set.

A five star hotel... . Positives:
*Bathrooms are TINY but clean and well appointed.
*No outdoor pool as advertised, but you can use the one at their sister hotel a few steps away.
* 99% of the staff was VERY nice and went out of their way to help and chat.
*The view of the castle and location are very nice- right on the water and they have a nice beach, 2 jacuzzi on the upper deck, indoor pool as well.
I will miss the staff and the breakfasts and the view!
Note: We found that leaving the door open at night was delightful, as the sea breezes and sound of the water and waves made us sleep like babies.
Also note: 2 days we came back midday for a nap. The room had already been cleaned. At 4 pm both days we were awakened by a knock at the door then someone entering?! If they have a 4pm turn down service or something they should also inform guests of that. We finally started putting out the do not disturb sign after realizing it happened daily.
The negatives:
*on the final night of our stay they hosted a wedding reception directly outside on the patio right below the rooms until midnight. No warning. Did not inform us. No courtesy call. Couldn't sleep. Flashing lights. Extremely Loud band. Definitely not 5 star attitude. Front desk basically hung up on me when I called to inquire when the party was ending so we could sleep. For the price we paid I expected more.
*There was one super rude lady at front desk one night who gave me attitude when I asked about a water taxi. She was snooty and said they could book something private for us as the "water taxis are with everyone".
*They advertised to book with them directly and get 2 free welcome drinks. When we checked in and inquired, they said "Oh those are non Alcoholic but we can make something up, IF you want them".
Overall we really enjoyed most of the time there and would recommend it.

Amazing place to stay that is walking distance to loads of great spots. Breakfast is superb & staff are very helpful and attentive. The view from the beach with a limoncello spritz is amazing.

Beautiful hotel, excellent customer service, very clean and convenient located. I would have love to stay longer. The only thing missing in the hotel was a thermal pool otherwise everything was excellent.

Room and amenities could be updated more but it was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! Staff very nice and helpful. Rooftop restaurant is gorgeous!

This was a great hotel with an unbelievable staff. The location was right on the water and near the Castle therefore plenty of options for dinner and site seeing. The room was great and breakfast each day was enjoyable. The beach staff was wonderful and helpful in all areas.

It was a great time for 3 nights. The food and staff were excellent. The room and view lovely. So good to be by the water!
