The aperol spritz around the pool was slightly over priced and if they are going to charge this then there needs to be a better snack selection to accompany the drink

Amazing views of mountains and the ocean from the pool. Has an elevator to the beach!! Really a great hotel and well worth the price

We had a lovely view from our room of the picturesque pool and the bright and colorful garden

The staff were amazing, the decor was beautiful, very moorish, we had a great room, (224), which had a beautiful pool and sea view. Breakfasts were eaten at the pool area overlooking the sea which was lovely

Our room was cleaned and towels changed every day. My only quirk, air conditioning wasn't great at all but I would highly recommend this Hotel

Breakfast was nice and they had delicious cakes and pastries, and the coffee was good, however there needs to be some fresh fruit as a healthy option. Overall a well priced hotel for a weekend stay

Absolutely amazing place! It’s so beautiful and relaxing even though only 10 min walk from the busy street. The hotel and pool is surrounded by beautiful hills and tropical plants/trees

I loved our stay at San Domenico, the garden is a real paradise! We did not use the pool, but did relax around it with a view at the mountain

There is a small parking, because most probably you'll need to rent a car or a scooter (better option). Separate garbage bins for recycling are available next to the main entrance. Warm regards to Federica, our host!

Excellent stay in a very nice environment: gorgeous garden and pool. Staff was friendly and super helpful (ask them for scooter rental if you need one - they might be able to help!)

If I remember correctly, there may have been mosquitoes, which is normal on the island in the summer, even in September

The pool offers stunning views of the mountains, making it easy to lose track of time while relaxing. Though the residence is located on a small hill, it's only an 8-10 minute walk to the nearest bus station

Got bitten quite badly by mosquitoes ( noticed bites over everyone’s legs) but the hotel provided anti mozzie plug ins. The staff were all wonderful … from restaurant and bar staff to cleaners

This magnificent hotel is on a cliffhanger where you get breathtaking views over the sea having access directly into the sea just just stepping off and on a ladder and a choice of two pools very individual to one another

Hotel is beautiful, its facing the sea , rooms are really clean, drinks are great and selection is good, the one thing that truly makes this hotel is the service, truly remarkable and of you have been to italy before its sometimes good or terribly bad! Additionally, the hotel restaurant and reception and all remaining staff are excellent qualified friendly welcoming in a 100/100 scale. And we have already booked for our upcoming 2026 summer holidays

We were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary and the lovely receptionist surprised us with the same beautiful room that we had for our honeymoon there along with a bottle of champagne

The staff are truly wonderful and very customer focussed making sure that we really enjoyed our stay. Everyone is so welcoming , especially remembering us from our previous stay

The grounds and thermal pool are also beautiful! Everyone working at La Villarosa is excellent shout out to Marina she is wonderful they all are, oh and the rates cannot be beat for a hotel with so much character and charm! I almost forgot to mention the spectacular view from the dining absolutely beautiful

The food, as you would imagine an Italian Mama's to be, served in a glass rooftop room with a beautiful view of the sea. I am gluten free and nothing was too much trouble for me to enjoy the experience

This lovely hotel is very well staffed with the most helpful and courteous people. The garden is stunning and the thermal pool is very refreshing. There is a poolside bar and the barman is absolutely legendary

What a lovely vintage hotel ! There were lots of places to hang out. The warm thermal pool surrounded by a lush tropical garden was beautiful. The staff service was impeccable

Also the food was delicious even though three courses are a lot for the dinner, but I guess that’s more about cultural difference 🤌. Lastly I’d say that the room was always clean so thanks to the cleaning lady

I set my father -in -law and his wife up at this resort for 4 nights and they had the absolute best time. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the thermals are amazing

From the cute garden entrance to the magnificent view, the historical tile throughout, the whole hotel is a visual delight. If there is anything better than the view, it is the delightful staff who were super friendly

Fantastic hotel, the private beach area is relaxing, and the spa treatments are excellent. Nearby plenty of restaurants and the bus stop to see other parts of the island is just outside the entrance

Amazing hotel on ischia Excellent experience. The rooms are quiet and very clean as well as well appointed. The private beach and beach club are why I chose this hotel and were a huge benefit

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating to us the entire trip. The beach club with its dining opportunity, swimming sunbathing, and staff adhering to any, and all of your needs was amazing

The people are so gracious at the hotel and treated you like a prince and a princess. The view overlooking the ocean was so serene. we feel incredibly relaxed and grateful to everyone

If you haven’t planned ahead they can also organise trips in the island and suggest local restaurants if you want to eat out Thoroughly recommended- we will be returning

Vincenzo was a STAR! I would definitely stay here again! The room's AC was excellent, the rooms with the AC high up on the wall are cooler then then the older AC's which some of the rooms had

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean it would have been even better if there was a kettle in the room! The pools were excellent loved the different thermal pools on site, and the jacuzzi at the of the outdoor pool was so relaxing, would definitely come back again!

The large 30-meter outdoor pool is a thermal pool and beautifully warm. The indoor thermal pools are equally relaxing and well-maintained. Dinner exceeded expectations, and the view is simply unforgettable

I've picked this hotel because it is literally 10min walk to Negombo and it has several pools with warm sea water & thermal water

I think the biggest inconvenience was that AC in the room didn't work properly, it didn't change the temperature to lower. It was very hot in the night, so we slept like in a sauna and woke up with headache every day

The shower room is pretty big, tiles slightly cracked in some places, shower isn't the most modern one, but does its job well. We didn't have any troubles with pressure or lack of hot water during our stay

There are also excellent bus connections to other parts of the island. The hotel has a thermal pool which is full each day from about 13:30 - drains then refills overnight

The staff is beyond lovely and accommodating, with a fantastic (yet respectful!) sense of humour, the breakfast is homemade and finger-licking good, the room was comfortable and quiet - we honestly could not have asked for more

The 2 brothers from the hotel were really knowledgeable about the island and made everyone feel at ease. It was an amazing day! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay here and will definitely be back in 2026!

All the staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Location is good - 20 mins walk down to the port, 10/15 mins to Ischia Ponte/castle, 5 mins to the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby

It went around the whole island with stops for swimming and a short break in Sant'Angelo which is only accessible by boat (no cars). Lunch and wine were also included which was a nice touch

Our room was spacious, bright and clean with a great view of the castle from the balcony. Breakfast was included and was really good - plenty of options to set you up for the day

Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in anyway that they could be. The rooms were incredibly charming and the views spectacular. It was just a short walk into town, which was so close and easy

You have to ask for soap in the bathroom or towels. We couldn't go in the pool because it wasn't opened yet. The view on the balcony is beautiful. The villa is situated in a calm street, with a lot of flowers

Loved having a pool, particularly in the immense heat and especially loved the little thermal pool outside our room. Amazing views of the castle too. The old town is a hilly 10 minute walk away

This is not a “luxury” property but is a tremendous value. Rooms are clean and well kept. The view is the main attraction here. If there’s a prettier view on this island I’ve not seen it. Well worth the money!!

Great wake up thanks to the home made cakes (thanks Salomee :) Only 10 minutes walking distance to reach the center of Forio (the walk is lovely next to the sea) and at only 3 minutes you have the first beautiful beach :) This place feels like paradise, perfect to relax with an amazing pool area

We stayed at Hotel Ideal with our family of 3 adults. Our room was adequate and clean. The hotel is conveniently located and grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was generous and good tasting

She has incredibly caring and intuitive energy and she could not have made us feel more comfortable and welcome. Pino was a wonderful host as well for all things food. We loved the thermal pool and the cold pool

Unfortunately, our stay was marred by bad weather so we couldn't fully appreciate the pool, although we did visit the nearby beach for a couple of hours

Hotel with swimming pool surrounded by a large tree-lined garden with many varieties of plants and flowers where it is possible to relax in complete tranquility, we opted for the half board formula being able to appreciate the excellent cuisine of the restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff, ideal place to spend some relaxing days for the whole family, see you next time!

Paola and her husband were kind and very helpful with travel arrangements. Paola got us into a local wine tasting at the last minute and her husband even drove us there

Breakfast was great with good options and the rooms clean and fresh with a short walk to nearby beaches ans on a handy bus troute. Will definitely return when we come to Ischia again

Warm and helpful welcome by Rosario, he is a super host who was always on hand for anything we needed during our 3 night stay. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, the pool and jacuzzi always clean

Breakfast was provided every morning which was delicious, if your fussy about tea, as I am I would say bring a few tea bags. The pool and jacuzzi were spotless. There is an excellent resturaunt next door

This was my 3rd time to visit Forio. I cannot recommend this place enough. The host Rosario was excellent, he gave us a great welcome, explained everything to us and kept in contact us for our entire stay

He was on the complex available for any reason. The complex itself is fab, great views or forio, the sea and mountains. Our room was spacious, spotless clean and was cleaned every day

Carlo and his team, especially Anna, are making your stay remarkable, they help you however is needed, have recommendations and when you are lucky, you can join for Carlos’ homecooked (delicious!) family dinners

The bed is super comfortable and the food they prepared for us was delicious. They even helped us rent a scooter for our stay. What can one want more from their bnb ? Loved it ! Highly recommend staying there

The shuttle into town is great but you are also able to enjoy amazing views & peace & quiet a little out of town on the hill. We had some wonderful home cooked meals there & prices were very reasonable

What a lovely experience it was to stay in this bed and breakfast. Our host organized transportation to come pick us up at the port. The view from the bnb makes the stay even better

The sun decks and pool deck have flawless views. The poolside bar service and drinks are excellent. The clientele are mostly pillow Italians. It is sophisticated with a touch of rustic, but not stuffy or affected

Excellent location! Beautiful views, excellent breakfast . The pools were very relaxing. Love the sound of the water from my balcony. The restaurants were excellent especially the one down the hill.

The breakfast is to die for, and so were the dinners. The private natural springwater pools made us not leave the hotel for a whole day. Bonus for the pets that roam free around the place

The rooms were good, with air con and very comfortable beds. I say rooms, because we had a problem with the water in our first room, but we were quickly given a new room and had no further problems

The hotel is located at Maronti beach. The pool is beautiful and located just across the sidewalk from the beach but still private. It was perfect for our family
