Residence San Domenico in Ischia Town

I loved our stay at San Domenico, the garden is a real paradise! We did not use the pool, but did relax around it with a view at the mountain. If I remember correctly, there may have been mosquitoes, which is normal on the island in the summer, even in September. Keep in mind there is a vending machine for some snacks or coffee, but groceries can be delivered to the hotel, so plan accordingly. There is a small parking, because most probably you'll need to rent a car or a scooter (better option). Separate garbage bins for recycling are available next to the main entrance. Excellent stay in a very nice environment: gorgeous garden and pool. Staff was friendly and super helpful (ask them for scooter rental if you need one - they might be able to help!)

This property is absolutely fantastic. Maria and her daughter are amazing hosts. Nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond. If you are on the island you need to stay here. Perfect family holiday. Can’t thank Maria enough for her hospitality. Maria grows everything on the premises from grapes for her own wine to tomatoes aubergines and every herb. We will definitely be back as we loved every second. The rooms, pool and surroundings are so relaxing. Coffee and croissants on the terrace for breakfast. Delivery is available food or supermarket.

I had one of the best experiences staying at the San Domenico Residence on Ischia. The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The garden is a highlight, offering a wealth of organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs for guests to harvest. Picking a fresh lemon and making lemonade was unforgettable!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and perfect for families, groups, or couples. Any questions we had were promptly answered. The pool offers stunning views of the mountains, making it easy to lose track of time while relaxing.

Though the residence is located on a small hill, it's only an 8-10 minute walk to the nearest bus station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, rent a car in Forio, or enjoy a short hike.

I highly recommend this residence and can't wait to return!

Absolutely amazing place! It’s so beautiful and relaxing even though only 10 min walk from the busy street. The hotel and pool is surrounded by beautiful hills and tropical plants/trees. The staff are all so welcoming and the hotel was always super clean. Frederica and Maria are such lovely people, made so much effort to help us and I can’t wait to go back and see them again! They even grown their own vegetables and herbs and every day leave a basket for guests to help themselves. Best spot on the island and great value for money!

I absolutely enjoyed my time here, I loved the peaceful atmosphere in the Nature between the olives and orange trees. Beautifully decorated and attention to the details. The cleaning was great. Stefania, the house keeping, was making sure that the place was always spot on. She definitely did a great job.
Maria was always very kind and helpful, we had a wonderful time at Residance San Domenico. I definitely recommend it for people that enjoys peaceful magic moments away from the noise, and doesn't mind a little walk to reach the center.

An oasis of peace! A wonderful garden that I miss every day. Almost not to get out of there. Nice apartments with everything you need and a small terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner while admiring the view. Swimming pool immersed in the garden very beautiful and of the right size. From the swimming pool there is a beautiful view of Mount Epomeo. Excellent cleaning and care of the rooms. The location was great for us because it was away from the noise and bustle, a little high up where you can find peace and a bit of cool and once again: have breathtaking views. Special thanks to the family that runs it. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful place, clean and nice. Pool is big, clean and deep, garden is large, barbecue place is very convenient for big company. Rooms are not so big, but have everything you need. Very quiet street. And very reasonable price!
