The hostess wanted to charge us extra for breakfast, even though it was a B&B. There are enough steps to climb to get to her gate on the road level, but once you enter her property, get ready to climb another 168 steps. She is too far away from everything. She told us it was a about 2 minutes to the bus stop... not true. Because you are so far from everything and much higher up, you don't
The most wonderful hostess combined with great view and plenty of room. Just lots of stairs 169 to be exact from the road to the house. Well worth it.
The b & b Le Nereidi is located in the upper area of Positano. Served excellently by public transport going down downtown, you can also go down through the nearby staircases. Colomba, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He recommended the best beaches and the most suggestive restaurants. The accommodation is comfortable, space and very clean. Highly recommended !!!
I stayed here in the summer of 2016 and it was a dream. The location is steps away from the local bus stop and has a view that took my breath away every single day. The apartment was spacious, clean, and perfectly lovely. Columba, the hostess, could not have been more friendly and the breakfasts she prepared in her picturesque outdoor eating area were consistently delicious and plentiful. The *one thing* that might be a problem for some is that there are 100+ stairs from the street to the Le Nereidi entrance itself. It should be mentioned that there is a luggage elevator so that one doesn't have to carry luggage up all of those stairs. I was able to do this and it did not take away from my experience, but for some others, it might. I dream of staying here again!
