Hotel Dammas in Cesenatico

My experience at the Damma's Hotel was sad and disappointing. Unlike what I saw in the photos, the room wasn't as elegant as it was on various booking sites. The room was very simple, which was acceptable for the price. The problem was the bathroom, which, in addition to having a spray bottle and a bidet, had no glass, so every time you took a shower, the bathroom and neighboring rooms would flood. From inside the room, you could hear everyone else in the hotel even at 4 a.m. Security is very poor, as the front door is always open despite there being a code to enter. The staff wasn't the best, as they seemed to be a bit too friendly with the guests. Remember, this is a three-star hotel, not your grandmother's house. I should also point out that the cleaning staff knocks on your room door, and if you don't answer immediately, they'll enter your room. Finally, I'd like to point out that a €100 deposit is required upon check-in, something that's not specified anywhere. I will definitely never stay here again.

Every time you take a shower, you end up completely flooding the bathroom and adjacent rooms. The lack of a bidet is also a serious concern. Furthermore, upon checkout, the staff wanted to withhold the deposit because, in their opinion, the towels used were too dirty. There are also no clotheslines, and the room is significantly smaller than it should be. The bunk beds are uncomfortable, and at any moment you risk falling from the one upstairs due to the broken structure. The only positive note is the location, relatively close to the beach.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a room that was clearly dirty and inadequately cleaned. There was debris and unmade beds left by previous guests.
This created a terrible first impression and made us feel very uncomfortable.

On our second day, we decided to use the beach umbrella and lounge chair service. However, we were charged an extra fee that hadn't been previously disclosed. Only after carefully checking the bill did we notice the error and had to request a refund. If we hadn't been careful, the hotel would have kept the extra money without any explanation.

To make matters worse, on the afternoon of checkout, we were falsely accused of damaging a doorknob and a chair in our room. This accusation was completely unfounded, as we hadn't caused any damage, adding further stress and frustration to our stay.

In conclusion, our experience at this hotel was very negative. I sincerely hope that the hotel management will take this feedback into consideration and improve the services offered, so that future guests can enjoy a pleasant and hassle-free stay.
