Really nice hotel! The hostess is lovely and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Great location, right in the middle of the city. The check in process worked well, and you’re able to automatically unlock the door from your phone which is great for late check ins

Very poor service, only available via WhatsApp, with no option to leave luggage anywhere.
I asked if I could leave my luggage in the apartment while the cleaning lady finished so I could go have breakfast, and they said no, even though they had just started cleaning.
The apartment has a time lock; you must vacate the room at 10:00 sharp, and the lock engages automatically.
The apartment is on the second floor of an old building in a very central location. The decor is a bit tacky, but it's very well-equipped.

A short stay in Ferrara at Il Bagattino. The host was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean! Thank you, and I hope to return soon.

I stayed in a pleasant air-conditioned room right in the centre of the old city near the fortress. The 'welcome pack' comprising a few drink sachets and biscuits was disappointing considering what I paid. At least a bottle of water would have been appreciated, especially as the outside temperature was in the high thirties. The feature I disliked was the automated entry system requiring my mobile phone whenever I wanted to get into the accommodation. It never worked on the first attempt and felt over-controlling unnecessarily impersonal. What's wrong with issuing a key or a straightforward entry code? I paid 58 euros per night for one person.

The absolute top in Ferrara. Comfort, relaxation, cleanliness and cordiality are adjectives that are not enough to describe a structure that truly offers everything one could wish for.

Excellent structure, well furnished room, excellent cleaning service in the room, kindness and helpfulness from the staff, what to say about mr. Carlo and his wife, people of great humanity, today there are few.
