UNA Hotels Bologna San Lazzaro in San Lazzaro di Savena

Good hotel in a quiet location. The location is a bit remote from the center but right next to the bus stop, so the center (bus number 90, destination Piazza Cavour) can be reached easily and inexpensively. Buses run from morning to evening about every 15 minutes. It is not worth taking a car to the center of Bologna, because the center is a forbidden area for cars and it is difficult to find parking places near the city. However, it is good to have a car if you are staying here, as there is little to see in the San Lazzaro area. However, a good pizzeria is nearby!

The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable. Good breakfast, and excellent coffee. I would have liked fresh orange juice and fried eggs, but otherwise everything was available and especially desserts were excellent. The swimming pool area was brand new and really clean, there were enough sun loungers and parasols.

The hotel has a nice staff and friendly service, late check out was easy. I definitely recommend the hotel for travelers to Bologna, but the location is remote enough that it is worth renting a car for a visit to the Cathedral of San Luca, for example. It is also worth visiting the nearby hills to admire the sunset. To the delight of motorsport lovers, Modena, Maranello and Imola are also quite close...

I had an amazing time at UNA Hotel San Lazzaro. The room was very comfortable, and the pool was perfect to cool down and relax. A special shout-out to Mirko; not only does he make outstanding cocktails, but he’s also such a great person to chat with. He really made the stay even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Located to a quiet area but the hotel seems more oriented to conventions than leisure travellers.

Very nice environment, with grassland outside, and the front desk staff is very nice, kind and beautiful. The breakfast is a little simple. I hope I can stay here again next time. It's very good

The environment is very good and the breakfast is also rich. The service attitude is warm, free parking, and it is very convenient to the exhibition. It takes more than 10 minutes to drive. There is a supermarket nearby. I will choose here again on my next business trip.

Location away from the city, strategic for those who need a hotel on Via Emilia Est. Excellent level, well-stocked and furnished gym, excellent welcome, clean and impeccable room, rich breakfast. For the occasion excellent value for money.
