We had a wonderful stay and truly felt extremely well taken care of from start to finish. Every single detail is thoughtfully curated and the level of attention throughout the hotel is impressive. The staff is highly professional, warm and genuinely prepared, making the experience feel effortless and refined.
The overall quality of everything, from the rooms to the services, is at a very high standard. I also had the chance to try the SPA this morning and enjoyed a massage that felt exactly like being in a specialized wellness center. The level of expertise and care was exceptional and absolutely worth it.
The location is perfect, right in the very heart of Florence, incredibly convenient for exploring the city while still offering a calm and elegant retreat. I would highly recommend this hotel both for short weekend stays and for longer city breaks. Truly deserving of five stars.

GORGEOUS hotel in Florence, we had a stunning suite for a nights stay during our honeymoon - I didn’t want to leave! Right in the heart of the city and an easy walk to shops, sights and restaurants nearby, as well as a lovely spa, restaurant and cocktail bar in the hotel. Couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay, the staff were so kind and welcoming too. We can’t wait to return one day!

From the moment we walked in, we were treated with incredible hospitality. This is a family-owned boutique hotel where you can truly feel the attention to detail in every corner. The level of service provided by the entire staff is exceptionally high.
The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had, served at the hotel's 1-star Michelin restaurant, Luca’s. I highly recommend the French Toast and the Eggs Benedict – they were both superb.
The location is perfect: right in the heart of everything and very central, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. An absolute gem!

The hotel is small but newly renovated, new, and very clean. The breakfast is also good. The location is good, very close to the Florence Cathedral and the square. All drinks in the refrigerator are drinkable, but you can't take them with you while you're out and about during the day because there's no bottle opener 😂

We loved our stay at La Gemma. Our room was very comfortable, if somewhat short on bathroom wall hooks; not a lot of places to hang up clothes. (Or hats, for that matter.) But Eduardo and the concierge team took very good care of us, recommending some great restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed. And Luca staff were also top-notch, and we enjoyed the welcome La Gemma cocktail so much that we ordered it a few more times during our stay. We also appreciated the location of the hotel on a quieter side street, and the easy access to shops, sidewalk cafés and trattorias with outdoor dining.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location could not be more perfect, right in the heart of Florence, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The hotel itself is beautiful, with so much charm and attention to detail. What truly made the experience special was the staff, every single person was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel well looked after. After long days of sightseeing, it was such a treat to unwind in the jacuzzi and sauna, the perfect way to relax. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!
