Not a pleasure stay as bathroom was not clean. Facilities are old. Although I know it is somehow the best around the area, I'd rather go to the next town for other hotels next time.

While having dinner near Villa Dom, we decided to book a different hotel due to how isolated and unsafe the location felt. Was lovely to stay in a traditional old school Italian decor hotel. Staff were not especially welcoming when compared to other hotels I stayed in on this trip.

The location was very convenient and very close to the city center. The hotel itself was okay, obviously old and there were signs of disrepair throughout including peeling paint, broken cabinet door and old carpet. That said our room was still clean and comfortable if just a little musty, but we could have opened the window to fix that.

I had a junior suite that was quite underwhelming. Only two windows were roof windows and was pretty dark. Room was overheated for sleep (24 degrees) but could not change anything on temperarture. Also nothing changed after I told reception. Hotel itself is a lovely palace, breakfast was okay but also not outstanding.

The overall state of the property was great! the rooms amazing, the bathrooms with large showers and counters amazing. The breakfast was exceptional " in house baked bread" full cheese and prosciutto selection mimosas and pastries were fantastic and fresh.

My stay at this Parma hotel was nice, with a uniquely beautiful room featuring a striking staircase descending to a spacious bathroom. The location is not bad, just a 15-minute walk to the city center. However, the shampoo and conditioner were insufficient for our two-night stay. The staffs are friendly but weren’t always at reception. The breakfast was just okay for a five-star hotel.

A lovely hotel with the most comfortable beds and pillows of anywhere we stay. Good location and the rooms are nice and big with lovely bathrooms and large showers. Breakfast has enough variety and the waiting staff are proactive in cleaning up and restocking. Free parking right outside your door and pet friendly makes it our go to when we are in Modena.

Exterior & lobby are updated and modern, reflecting the 4 star rating. The rooms were more like a 2 star hotel (our double bed was two twin mattresses shoved together, flooring throughout is same tile as in the shower). Parking was closeby but a bit inconvenient as you had to ring a bell and wait for them to open the gate for both entry and exit.

Good foe one night and the amount we paid. Rooms are decent and have free WiFi. You can park the car in front of your door. The only defect is that your door is right only the parking so if you are unlucky and have neighbours arriving in the night speaking loud you will hear everything.
