Where to stay in Emilia-Romagna

booked there to stay a night before departure via BLQ, was ok to stay and staff was kind and responsive bit small entrance for the car but not so crowded so was ok

The hotel staff were wonderful and welcoming: I paid for the room and breakfast option, but as I was leaving very early the next morning, they left a takeaway breakfast package at reception! The single room was decidedly small and clean, as was the bathroom.

The hotel is located near the highway and has its own parking lot, making it safe and convenient for drivers. It's also very close to the city center by taxi. The hotel service is excellent; everyone is very nice and willing to help.

I stayed at Hotel Universal during the Ironman weekend and I had a great stay. I stayed at this hotel in several occasions and the conditions are good, rooms are nice, breakfast with plenty to choose from but the biggest plus is the staff which is very nice and willing to help with every request that I had. I am a usual customer, but this time there was no heating at the hotel on the first night and the room temperature was 18C. To me that is unacceptable. I have requested additional electric heater, but it was not available. It was a rough night and for a 4 star hotel it is unacceptable to have such conditions.

Hotel is located in the center of Bologna, very easy to reach from the city center and train station by foot or bike. The room is a little small, which is quite common in Europe, but the quality is decent. Breakfast in okay, not the greatest but also not the worst. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel just steps from Piazza Maggiore. I travel frequently for work and have stayed in many hotels in central Bologna, and this is among the best value. The bathroom in the room has been renovated and is very comfortable despite being a single. The breakfast is good and varied.
