Villa Maria Teresa Boutique Hotel in Formia

Location beautiful but not dancing. Starting with the staff who don't say hello to you, not even a good morning in the morning. The cleaning of the rooms was not satisfactory because, at least in our room, it was not well cleaned, the bed was not made one day, the sheets are not changed, the broom is not passed as we found the same things on the ground. The balcony is never cleaned, on the ground it is full of ants and tree needles. Our room did not have a shower but rather a small bathtub that my 3 year old son entered and every time we flooded the bathroom. The bathroom mirrors are always dirty. It does not have a mini bar (essential for any need, especially for small or elderly children). One evening we went to dinner, the waiter came and said to me: does the child eat with you or does he just give you company? I say but what question is it ??? However, at 20 we ordered a plate of pasta with sauce for the child ..... 2 hours of waiting because I was told: here we have dinner after all the guests have sat down, that is, never heard from anywhere. I don't recommend it, there are places with better services.

Unfortunately the accommodation that was reserved for us does not correspond to the photos published on the various sites, obsolete room, plywood table under the mattress, one meter tub where not even a hook that kept the shower allowed to take a shower, not to mention the fridge in the corridor shared with the other guests, a mini fridge can now be found even in the worst guesthouses. I understand the excuse that you have not had time to renovate the adjacent part of the villa, but to call it a standard room is an offense to those who offer much more dignified accommodations. For the rest, the charm of the villa is the top on a panorama that makes you enjoy the sea every moment of the holiday. Unfortunately we wanted to give a stay to our daughter with her boyfriend but now we certainly have to think about it several times before doing so.

Disappointing for the accommodation outside the main building. Dated and not at all equipped with indispensable and appropriate services.
