We booked 2 rooms: one for my parents and the other for myself. While mine didn't have much issues, the bin in my parents' room was not cleared and there were strands of hair on some of the towels. The AC in their room also wouldn't turn on, luckily it was a cool night so they didn't have to use it.
What we both encountered was that the water pressure would become very low during peak times, making showering virtually impossible.
The only advantage this hotel has is the proximity to Genova Principe station and a couple of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Stay was okay. Sheets were very thin for it being a cold time of year during my visit. No blankets were available. I also got stuck at the elevator when I was checking out because another person left the elevator for open (the old school kind where there’s is a door to open in order to enter or exit the elevator).

On the good side, check in and out were easy and simple. The fixings and decor were nice and it felt very posh from that perspective. It is centrally located/walkable and the staff were very affable.

The hotel is an apartment-style hotel located in a residential building, a relatively historic building with an Italian style. I felt it offered a more unique and authentic experience than modern hotels. The location is excellent; there are shops and restaurants downstairs, and it's a short walk to the beach (the aquarium is just a short walk away, and a little further on is the Italian boutique hotel, where you can take the elevator up to buy many Italian souvenirs). The city center and tourist attractions are also within walking distance. I recommend walking to the foot of the hill near the city center and taking the 2-euro tram up. The hotel breakfast is decent; you can skip it if you prefer, as there's a café nearby.

Excellent location, a 5-minute walk from the train station. The check-in counter is 50 meters from the hotel entrance. The rooms are clean and spacious. There are many shops and restaurants nearby.

We initially booked a suite because the room description listed one double bed and one single bed. I have a 3-year-old child, and double beds in Europe are generally small, so we chose a suite. The pictures also showed that. However, upon arrival, they gave me a double room, saying it was because I hadn't informed them of having a child. They said we would count as two people. Fortunately, they eventually upgraded us to a larger suite. It was a fairly standard budget business hotel, right next to the train station and very close to the cruise terminal. Very convenient.

The hotel is in a very good location, about 200 meters from the central railway station, with convenient transportation. The breakfast is very rich. The hotel service is very considerate. The sanitary facilities and surrounding environment are quiet and clean.
