Room is modern, well kept, clean. The elevator is new, so good if you have large suitcases because it's up a few floors. I think he has 3 rooms, we were in room 3. There are many other "hotels" in this building. There is a small sitting area outside the rooms, with access to coffee maker, kettle, tea, corkscrew, microwave. The shower stall is VERY small, so don't pick this place if you're a bigger person; it barely fit us small frame women.
Riccardo gave us good information about the tickets to Cinque Terre, to buy them in advance, otherwise you're waiting in line for the ticket machine/vendors.
Great value at 126 Euros/night. I would stay here again if not in Cinque Terre, and recommend this place to others.
He showed us where to park and helped with our luggage. The room was very clean and no noise 🙂 if I ever come back to la spezia, this is the place to stay.

To sum up me and my wife made a 20 day trip in Italy. In the end after being in lot of places we feel the right to comment in these platforms that this place is to expensive for the quality offered. It's our opinion, point. We booked it we paid it but after being there and seeing for ourselves and after our trip we can not believe how we could book this place for more than 100€/night considering it is a very normal place nothing special at all. It ended up to be the most expensive in our trip and not by far the best one.
Besides we don't think it's normal that the owner answers your comments sarcastically and being rude insinuating that we are dumb people and saying we are bad clients.
