Very nice property with a great breakfast and spa. The staff was very professional. Unfortunately, you could hear guests in the next room as if they were in ours.

The hotel is well located and with beautiful and well curated gardens but, to me, is totally missing of charm and style. It is not a grand dame and neither a contemporary decor. I was disappointed with the service at the front desk. Yesterday I asked them to print my boarding pass and emailed the file as requested, but after sending it, I waited 10 minutes with no update. This unnecessary delay caused me to miss my scheduled train. For a hotel of this level, basic services like printing should be handled more promptly and efficiently. Room has no sound proof.

Excellent location, 7 minutes from the station, one minute - the Castle, the embankment, restaurants. The rooms are new, clean. We liked everything very much!!

The hotel is in a very convenient location: 10 minutes walk from the train station, on the embankment. It was not indicated anywhere, so I will write that there is a mini-fridge in the room (water in it is paid, but you can not take it, and use the refrigerator). The bathroom, as we say, is separate. We had a nice suite overlooking the sea . Breakfast was good evening dinners were ok nothing to write home about. They can certainly improve on them. Service staff was good. Might be a good idea to offer a shuttle service into town as you have to walk on Main Street with small side paths .

Stay was standard and as expected. Large room and large bathroom.  Staff were very helpful however, we requested for a higher floor and with sea view which they accommodated they also accommodated and prepared a breakfast box as we were due to checkout very early before the service started.

Best Western Regina Elena is an average hotel with decent service. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing outstanding either. Parking was a bit pricey, and while the room was okay overall, the bathroom was quite small. Breakfast was simple, with an okay selection — enough to get you started for the day, but nothing memorable. It’s fine for a short stay, but don’t expect anything fancy.

Warning - this is NOT a 5* hotel. This is a fantastic hotel, close to everything. Very hip and stylish lobby and outdoor lounge. The only thing that could improve is the hot tub was cold and we could not get it to heat up but we would highly recommend this property when visiting Santa Margherita ligure.

Very close to the train station and central area. Rooms are big and modern. The service is great. Only downside is that the hotel is split between to areas, the spa area and some of the rooms are located in a different building then the main building which isn't very comfortable, specially if your room isn't located where the spa is. But other then that, it is a really good hotel.

Our room did not include use of pool area. Requested 50 euro pp to use the pool .ordered a cappacino in the morning and they charged me the full price of breakfast buffet 30 euro. Front staff was rude.

The property is in an excellent location, in front of the Castle. The room was clean and spacious, with a partial sea view. Average breakfast with lots of fresh products. The bathrooms and soundproofing between the rooms should be renovated. But for me it is still an excellent hotel!

We were not able to stay, but we did pay for the reservation, so I do not value the location, cleanliness or facilities. What did happen was that we had a medical problem, with official proof, and they did not offer us any solution. We did not ask for a refund, but for new dates, and the answer was the same. Very poor customer service.

Nice mid tier property, the tall front desk guy was a **** but our stay was ok overall. The hotel is dated, smoky in the hallways and there’s rule signs everywhere. The best part was the ocean patio area.

Great location and value for money

We enjoyed the beautiful view and cleanliness of the room. For a family of four the family room was slightly small but still convenient enough. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The breakfast was amazing. The croissants were to die for. Great location by the harbour and very closr to the centre of Rapallo. The staff were lovely abs helpful. This was a fabulous stay! The private beach is stunning and unlike anything you’ll find in the Portofino area. The staff was amazing and always so friendly. I booked a junior suite with spa option on their website. All rooms are different, but the junior suite with spa is the largest room and bathroom I've stayed in Europe. The mattress in our room wa completely broken and ruined our night and the day after. Our back is completely broken. We chose this hotel because of the parking and the sofa. The sofa is not relevant at all for those who come in the evening because it closes at 8:00 PM and only opens 14 days later. Parking costs 38 euros and they didn't mention it anywhere. Breakfast is reasonable.

We had a perfect stay in Tigullio. We walked from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to the town/shopping. Everything was close and we were able to walk to get espressos every morning. Perfect location and staff were so welcoming and helped us out with amenities (iron & ironing boards) as we had a wedding nearby. Would 100% recommend to friends and stay here again!

The room AC was not cooling at all and we called the reception and they’ve sent a technician and he said it’s working normal, nothing been done till the last night I called them again to find me a solution, and moved us to another room which the AC was very good and they could’ve did this from the fist complain, my stay was really bad because of the AC and bad smell from the room

This is a lovely place and only a short walk from the waterfront (not on the waterfront as the listing says). Parking in a side street was easy and it appeared to be safe. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great.

Hotel Riviera is in a wonderful location; as close to the water as you can get. It had parking out front so we didn't have to walk far and it was free. We stayed here one night to see the area and to travel into Portofino from the sea. Very nice room with an associated restaurant. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Not too far of a walk from the train station. To go to Portofino via a ferry boat is easy access from the hotel. Walk to the water and turn left, the ferry is less than a five minute walk from the hotel

An excellent find in pictureque Rapallo overlooking the Bay and coastal headlands. We found this an ideal central location for exploring the local scene- handy to SML and a short ferry ride to beautiful Portofino.
