A Perfect Stay for Business or Leisure – Hotel Minerva Exceeds Expectations

I recently stayed at Hotel Minerva in Santa Margherita Ligure while traveling for work, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and charm, making it ideal not just for business trips, but also for a relaxing getaway.

What truly sets Hotel Minerva apart is the incredible staff. Every interaction was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming – they go above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home. Their hospitality is the heart of this hotel.

The rooms are spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and offer a comfortable, quiet space to unwind after a busy day. Having on-site parking was a huge plus and made logistics so much easier. The breakfast is also worth mentioning – delicious, fresh, and a perfect start to the day.

Whether you’re visiting for work or planning a leisurely escape to the Ligurian coast, Hotel Minerva is a gem. I’ll definitely be returning – next time, hopefully for both business and pleasure.

The team at the hotel were outstanding, nothing was a problem for them. They provided excellent local knowledge when we were considering different walking options and recommended several great restaurants and activities. The facilities were very good, the location great. This place is a gem, we stayed six nights - we wish it was six months!

For sure, one of the highlights is how welcoming and accommodating the staff are (special thanks to Federica)! Location is ideal — super close to the water and amenities. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and modern with lots of space. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

Wonderful stay
A wonderful hotel, very clean, not far from the sea, great breakfast options and a rooftop terrace with amazing views of the harbour. All staff were friendly and helpful but special thanks to Federica who had great knowledge of the local area how to get to different places and things to see. She was also very helpful with arranging our travel back to the airport .

We absolutely loved this place! Our room (and the entire hotel) was very clean, modern and comfortable. Our room, with balcony, had a great view of the countryside and the water in the distance. The entire staff was extremely accommodating. Frederica at the front desk was so gracious and helped us with restaurant recommendations, train tickets, and answered our many questions. Breakfast was excellent - great selection of cakes, breads, ham, yogurt, and much more. Luca managed the breakfast room and provided exceptional service. The hotel was within walking distance to city center, restaurants, and the water. Easy access to Portofino and the towns of the Cinque Terre from Santa Margherita Ligure.
