Best Western Regina Elena in Santa Margherita Ligure

Stay was standard and as expected. Large room and large bathroom. 
Staff were very helpful however, we requested for a higher floor and with sea view which they accommodated they also accommodated and prepared a breakfast box as we were due to checkout very early before the service started.

It‘s a little old. And for the stay too expensive.
Rooms are very clean.

Best Western Regina Elena is an average hotel with decent service. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing outstanding either. Parking was a bit pricey, and while the room was okay overall, the bathroom was quite small.

Breakfast was simple, with an okay selection — enough to get you started for the day, but nothing memorable.

It’s fine for a short stay, but don’t expect anything fancy.

The location is excllent if you like walking along the sea-coast. Though, despite the quiet location and no outside noice, you can hear all sounds from inside (the hotel floor) when you are in your room anticipating relax and privacy. Moreover, in case there is a connecting door in your room, be sure to hear every little sound from your neighbour like they are in the same room with you - that was a huge disappointment. Also, all chats from the corridor, vacuum cleaners and music from the nearby rooms - literally everything. The cleaning was excellent. The breakfast board offers a wide choice. The ladies at the receptin are super friendly and supportive!

Easily accessible structure, convenient internal parking, excellent cleanliness, welcoming and very professional staff. Abundant and varied breakfast. Comfortable, bright room, modern furnishings in excellent condition. Very pleasant outdoor space.

The additional building is located above the garage, buses can stand there for several days, turning on the engines for a long time to warm up (in the photo the view from the window). It is necessary to take this into account when planning a reservation. Very good employees cleaning the rooms, many thanks to them!

Our room was very comfortable and the 4th floor location was great! The room was listed as a garden view, but from our lovely terrace, we definitely had partial ocean view! We loved having a terrace complete with a table, 2 chairs, two lounge chairs and a remote control awning, to make shade if needed! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The front desk staff and the staff in the dining area were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were varied and good. We didn’t use the rooftop pool, lounge chairs, or hot tub but it looked fun. We also didn’t swim or access the private beach; the price of 50 Euros for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella seemed a bit expensive. We were unsure if we could have gone there just to sit and have a drink without paying a fee. We should have asked.
The location is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and there are no sidewalks for a small section as you get close to the hotel, so you have to change to the water side of the street and then cross back over. The city buses from the train station seem to always be very, very full so using the bus with any luggage would have been almost impossible.

The location is a plus, close to Portofino and Paraggi. Has its own paid parking. breakfasts for 4+ rating. The view from the window to the sea is beautiful. Minuses: the staff on the beach is very unpleasant, hotel guests who came only to swim for half an hour without buying a sunbed are asked to leave things almost on the road and are forbidden to sit on a towel by the sea for 5 minutes. I'm sorry, but visiting mostly 5 star hotels - this is the first time I've met with such an attitude.
