Hotel Panizza isn’t exactly the place you’ll be bragging about on Instagram. The location is a bit out of the way unless your life revolves around San Siro Stadium, in that case, congratulations, you’ve found your people.
The hotel itself is fine. Clean, comfortable enough, and the staff are friendly, but it’s definitely giving “functional over fabulous.” If you’re looking for luxury, keep scrolling. If you’re just looking for a decent bed after stuffing yourself with pasta and watching football, it’ll do the trick.
Would I book it for a romantic Milan getaway? Probably not. Would I stay there again for a match or concert? Absolutely. Sometimes convenience scores more goals than style.

Great experience! Quiet area but still very close to the city and excellent transit near by. The room was clean and looked like the photos. Also the staff was so helpful, they found an adaptor for us when I didn’t work, they printed materials for us, stored our luggage and even booked a taxi! I highly recommend!

Our room featured mold on the bathroom wall and ceiling and a shower door that didn’t seal at the bottom, causing the bathroom to flood when showering. When this was pointed out to the staff, they said they were aware of the mold and were waiting for cleaners and painters to come. They admitted to knowingly placing us in a room with untreated mold. We booked through booking.com and clearly overpaid.
The only good part of this place is the location and easy access to public transportation, but I think that has more to do with Milan than the hotel.

Comfortable beds, very nice reception people, location is great, close to Science Museum, metro, tram and very good restaurants. They were so nice to take care of our luggages while we explored before our flight. Thank you!

You're in the city center in a 30-minute walk or a 6-minute ride on public transport. There are cafes nearby for breakfast, and a Carrefour is right on the corner. In our room, the first day, there was a towel on the floor because the air conditioning was leaking, but they fixed it without any problem on the second day. Overall, the room was comfortable and had a small balcony.

Good location for walking access to several key tourist locations and a tram line passes just in front (2&10). Very clean rooms. It seems a bit strange to access the reception on the second floor of a residential building but don't let that put you off, the reception is available 24/7 and are very friendly (mostly). As commented by others, the walls are not sound insulated and you can hear people coming and going but we were lucky in the week that we were there we were not too disturbed by this. I would go there again

Gravely disappointed at their dodgy practices. I booked a double room via booking.com having reviewed the prices for 2 people. When I booked, it must've changed to 1 person. Now they want to charge me an extra 30 euros citing this technicality. When I called booking.com they said they can change it for 17 euros. Meanwhile the prices are cheaper online, I'm just unable to cancel. How is this fair on consumers? I reasonably thought the price was for 2 people and was never notified it would change. I wonder if they do this to all customers and intend to escalate this.

Basic hotel that’s good enough for a short stay in Milan. Everything is about a 20 minute travel from this hotel, but for the price it’s decent and air conditioned and clean

The photo shows one hotel, but they put us in another one in the same building... naturally, the one they put us in was worse. I booked a room with a balcony, but there wasn't one.
