Welcoming staff, good location, secure parking, clean room and within walking distance of local restaurants and cafes. Recommended for a short stay.

We booked a non-refundable stay months ahead based on good reviews. A month before arrival, a health emergency prevented our trip.
We contacted the hotel hoping for understanding, as other companies (airline, other hotels with same policy) were flexible and offered refunds or alternative dates.
Hotel des Etrangers - Milan was the only one completely unhelpful. Communication was incredibly slow (emails took 4 weeks!). Despite ample time to resell the room, they showed zero flexibility or empathy.
Very disappointed by the lack of support and poor communication during a difficult situation. Cannot recommend based on this experience.

I did not get the premium room with two twin beds, that i originally booked. We got another room instead. Orherwise, i would still book there again:100 feet from bolivar metro, safe area, great staff at front desk, good breakfast.

Staff were so friendly & helpful. Breakfast buffet was so much more than we were expecting, the different cakes each morning were delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The front desk staff were really great and really helpful. My room was comfortable and just the right size for me. They have a great breakfast selection, and the dining area has a really great ambience. There’s a metro stop mere feet away (blue line), and there’s also a tram about a 5-minute walk away. I would gladly come back and stay here again!

The deluxe room is very nice and clean, the hospitality of all the staff were so nice and friendly.

Honestly loved staying at this hotel, never been to Milan before and didn’t know which area to stay and found this hotel. The area was really nice and had a metro station a few metres from the front. The room was clean and tidy. There was a mini fridge in the room that actually kept drinks cool. The only things that we would have loved in the room is a coffee machine (not essential) as we are big coffee fans and having the option would have been nice and having a safe to store valuables would have been nice as well so we didn’t have to carry those items when we went out exploring. Overall the hotel was great, staff were so friendly and helpful especially the man who were on the desk on the first night we checked in.

Large hotel with 24/7 reception. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, with air con & a fridge. There were no kettle or tea-making facilities & the room was a little dated. The shower was hot and reliable, and the toiletries & towels were replaced daily. The bed was comfortable. There is free continental breakfast for all guests, and this included some vegan croissants etc. I did not have anything myself, so do not know if they had vegan spread or milk, but it would be worth requesting in advance. Tram 14 goes from nearby, to the city, as do buses 50 & 85. A Metro station will be opening, 50 metres away, imminently. Not central, but good hotel.
