The room was small but comfortable. I could hardly hear any noise from the street. The small bathroom looked magnificent with marvellous tiles all over!
The dining room, where breakfast was served, was nice and comfortable, with leather-cushioned benches as well as chairs. There is no coffee machine and coffee was served to the table. That's a big plus! Unfortunately the coffee was a bit burned. The food selection was decent.
Staff was very polite and friendly. Overall I can highly recommend staying at the Mec Hotel.

Hotel is situated in a good location with lots of travel options. Tram stop is very close to the hotel which made it very easy to travel around. Hotel is simple, the decor is a little outdated but this somehow had a nice charm to the hotel. It's lovely and cosy. All staff members were very helpful and polite.

Very friendly and helpful at the reception. You have the tram just outside (nr 16) 9 stations and you’re at Duome. What’s not mentioned in the booking section is that you have a coffee machine, which is essential to me. Very clean rooms.spacious. The only thing is that it has mold in the bathroom and that’s a big minus. Didn’t get to have breakfast as we’re leaving early. But all in all a very nice hotel.

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated with a local vibe, but what truly made my one-night stay special was the gentleman at reception. His warm welcome and positive energy instantly made the place feel like home.

Terrible. please dont go this place. no proper parking. bad breakfast restaurent.next door people sound can hear as well.also park undergraound narrow parking and carry all my big luggages by staircase.

Got my room for a very good price, a little over 60 euros before add ons like breakfast and tourist tax. Absolutely amazing for the price. Incredibly friendly service and very clean room with good amenities. Wish I could’ve stayed longer!

I stayed in room # 20 for two nights.
The bed mattress is old and worn out and the metal springs press against your body.
It is embarrassing that a hotel that charges more than 100 Euros per night (plus the 6.30 EUR tourist tax per person) doesn't invest in new mattresses.
The mattress does not even have a cover (another cost saving measure?)
The management of the hotel is one of the worst I came across in a city hotel in Europe.
The check out time is 10 am and there are no "do not disturb" or "clean my room" signs to place on the door handle.
I had a meeting in the morning and was surprised to find the housekeeping had cleaned my room and changed the bed sheets when I returned to the room which was totally unnecessary.
There is a kettle in the room and some brown and white sugar sachets but not a single tea bag or coffee so make sure you bring your own.
The mini bar has bottles of water but there is no indication these are chargeable or complimentary.
Out of curiosity I asked the young receptionist if they are free and he said they are but being the doubting Thomas that I am I decided against drinking them.
I hope that if I ever need to stay in Milan again I will be rich enough to stay in a 4 star hotel so avoid these types of small hotels that have a mindset of taking the maximum and giving the minimum and which our world would be better without.

My flight was canceled 29th November 2024 of generál strike in Italy and hotel Mec in Milano refused to give me partial refund for my stay .So i lost all my money.Reception talk with me rude and i couldmt talk with mamagment.If i go again to Milano i will never visit this unfriendly hotel.

We had read a few reviews on hotel Mec and where a little apprehensive but we neednt have worried. Lovely clean room, small bathroom but all we needed. Ample food for breakfast and comfy bed. Thats all i need. Transport on the doorstep made this a great choice for us and a couple of great restaurants very close by

Basic hotel, but comfortable and nice friendly service , with good breakfast in the morning , highly recommend if on a budget and want a comfortable hotel
