Our room was spacious and clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Nice area in a quiet neighborhood a short taxi ride away from the Duomo.

It's a very comfortable hotel. I will stay there again if I have the chance.

Close to metro and tram lines , rooms big enough some were dated but they seem to be upgrading rooms , only really complaint was no kettle in the room for hot drinks or complementary water, the rest was good

Rooms are good and clean, beds were small and hard. If you prefer a bed for obvious reasons then you would be zufrieden. Furthermore, we paid roughly 500-550€ for 2 nights and still had to pay for parking. And we also paid something like 50€ city tax. Just checking out costed us roughly extra 100€.. Staff is friendly but in a different way. My mother asked for a quilt and they asked for what she needs “quilt” then he made a joke “Is your husband taking all haha”. This intimacy was a bit too much, especially for Germans they should know that they are sensitive about their private lives. But i think it is their character — Seltsam overall 🤷🏻‍♂️

I generally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience so future guests know what to expect. Unfortunately, the hotel was not as clean as we hoped we noticed a lot of dust in the room and common areas, which made it feel neglected.
What really affected our stay was the attitude of the front desk staff in the morning. In particular, a man named Robert (Indian, working the morning shift) was extremely unprofessional. When we arrived early for check-in, instead of offering a warm welcome or even basic courtesy, he barely looked up from his phone and treated us like an inconvenience. He put us in a corner to wait without giving any clear information, and his responses were sarcastic and passive-aggressive rather than helpful. It felt like he was pretending to be polite, but in a mocking or ironic tone not the kind of attitude you want at a front desk.
In contrast, the staff during the afternoon shift were fantastic friendly, welcoming, and professional. If you do end up staying here, I highly recommend only dealing with the afternoon team for anything you need.
Also, be aware of the breakfast situation: if you want breakfast, make sure to arrive before 9:00 AM. After that, most of the food runs out, and nothing gets replenished no refills, no attention to guests still arriving, and no effort to maintain the service. It feels like a rushed, first-come-first-serve setup rather than a proper hotel breakfast.
There’s definitely potential at this property, but it’s currently being overshadowed by poor service in the mornings and a lack of attention to detail.

Nice basic hotel in Milan
Only stayed one night but staff were friendly on check in. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast was excellent value for money and good selection. Staff were pleasant on check out. A good location and would recommend.

Very pleasant stay. Location is nice and quiet but with restaurants and busy streets nearby - just a few metro stops to the city centre. Hotel was clean and nice.

“Great hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, with metro stations and a supermarket nearby. I highly recommend it if you’re planning a visit to Milan.”
