Reviews
AT THE END THE RESTAURANT WAS SUPER GOOD. I'll definitely be back to be pampered. Greetings to everyone and happy holidays!
All the staff at the reception and concierge were outstanding. The head concierge, whose name I unfortunately don’t remember, was exceptionally efficient, helping us with everything, from getting opera tickets to securing tickets to see The Last Supper.
So, only praise and the best recommendations for both Mandarins. The Milan team was truly sensational, and the Como team was also very kind and attention, but the hotel itself there is already a masterpiece.
We had a wonderful conversation with Stephanie and we learned we had a common friend, Sophia Peluso, General Manager, Villa San Michele in Florence. Stephanie has orchestrated a hotel dynamic of impeccable customer service and professionalism.
I expressed to Guglielmo that my wife Judy is an amateur chef. Without hesitation, Guglielmo whisked us off to the kitchen to meet Antonio Guida, Executive Chef. He explained his signature dish, Rosotto with dusted raspberries. What a wonderful memorable experience.
Our suite was elegant, spacious, and well appointed. Sophisticated design and style with hardwood floors, customized furniture, and walnut wood panels.
Our group of four was invited to Seta’s private dining room. We indulged in the chef‘s table tasting menu. The meal was sophisticated and refined with a contemporary Italian flair. Compliments to Executive Chef, Antonio Guida.
A special thank you to Manager on Duty, Brando Rosada. Brando has polished customer service and hospitality.
The Mandarin Oriental, Milan is within walking distance to many of the cities attractions. Located in the heart of fashion, the MO is polished cultured sophistication. We look forward to our return visit.
To begin with, our room was not cleaned during the day. After spending a long day out, we returned to find the room untouched, which really affected our evening. Although the staff offered to clean it at that point, it was too late to be of any help.
Additionally, the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. I asked if they could do something about it, but was told there was nothing they could offer.
As well, they offer only soap, shampoo and paper toilet. Other than that there is nothing!
I asked for facial tissues they sent me toilet roll as they don’t use the tissues! No welcoming water offered neither coffee neither nothing!
Another major inconvenience was the lack of running water between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm each day, which forced us to plan our outings around this issue.
While the staff were generally kind and helpful, these problems significantly impacted our stay, and overall, we had a negative experience at the hotel
