Hotel Calissano in Alba

Pleasant stay for 2 nights.
When we arrive on Sunday afternoon as tourists., it looks so quiet(low season for tourism) but everything well maintained/ receptionists are very friendly & breakfast is very good. The staffs at breakfast are very warm also cheering. Monday many business people stay this hotel.

(Alba center is not big, usually we drive to visit surroundings winery, villages, so perfect location)

Perfect place! Starting with super friendly staff, extremely charming, very polite, very flexible. Location is great for walking to downtown Alba. Keep your car in the FREE parking and try the fabulous wine of the region. Room. We booked the apartments in the 'Rsidence'. Spacy, functional, great.

Stayed at hotel for 3 nights for the truffle featival. Lovely room, great location - as per all other reviews. I was especially impressed by the staff - so helpful and kind. I had a terrible cold and lost my voice. Mario at the front desk located a salt grinder so I could use it with hot water so I could sooth my throat. Funny enough, Mario had a bad cold too! Small kindness makes for HUGE impressions.

Overall nice enjoyable visit at this hotel. Rooms were nice and spacious. Pricing was good for the hotel.

Few minutes walk from the pedestrian street where the nice shops and restaurants are. Very pleasant service, very clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is considered “continental” but is definitely more than that!
Parking under the building- very safe!
In brief- an excellent hotel to stay in when visiting Alba!

The location is perfect: not in the crowded and noisy city center but walking distance from the city center. It means rooms are big, parking inside the garage. Breakfast is complete but not exaggeration (be mindful with waste). People are very kind. Rooms are quiet and well isolated.

Good hotel in Alba, next to the city center, convenient.
Breakfast was included, a buffet with fruit, iogurts, cereals, cakes, ham,... And coffee.
The room is classic, but good and clean. There was a small bottle of shampoo/soap, but no conditioner.
The check-in and check-out were easy.
Overall it's a really good hotel.

Spent 15 days in the apartments of the hotel. The hotel amenities were incredible. Best hair dryer I've ever had in a hotel. The breakfast buffet was super fresh and constantly being supervised and never an empty platter. I cannot say enough about the staff. I would walk in and they had my cappuccino waiting for me. Whatever I needed, I would call to the reception and in 5 minutes I was served. The location was superb... 5 minute walk to the centre which in my opinion is even better then right in the centre as there was peace and quiet for sleeping. Thank you to the entire staff for making me feel at home. I will definitely be back. 😀

Nice hotel. Friendly people. Decent breakfast. Close to city centre.

We were in town for a wedding. This hotel was a little further from the center of town but it's only a 5 minute walk. Perfect for exploring Alba. The hotel is nice - but note there are no irons, so you will have to use their ironing service which is 50% of the cost of their laundry services. I don't think irons are allowed at any hotel in Italy though. Breakfast is included and it goes until 10.30am and it was very good. The croissants are amazing! The beds are a little hard but not uncomfortable.
