Arborina Relais in Morra

Aside from the 5* customer service and a good breakfast, the relais was underwhelming.
1. We stayed in the Junior garden suite room. It was one of the main reasons for choosing the Relais, and honestly aside from #4 it was quite a disappointment. The terrace that cant really see rolling vineyards, to the right mostly blocked by trees and the breakfast building, and to the left, the neighbors garden which is so close you can see their leg hairs if you wanted to. The best vineyard view is on the east from within the breakfast bldg... How ironic.
Also the garden is mostly soil then grass... And you aren't really provided footwear so you might just end up having dirty shoes which could translate to a dirty room
2. Quite little privacy. keep hearing people talking or moving outside, and the terrace and window faces the breakfast location so someone will always have eyes on you
3. The bathroom is designed as disabled access . Good for the disabled, not so much for regular folks who paid for aesthetics, and practicality. No matter how you shower, water spills out everywhere.
4. Every little addon requires money. Even the bottle of waters in your room?!!? Probably the most appalling aspect of such a high class relais.. The kicker? We got a goodie bag to leave. It had a bottle of water in it :)
5. Its expected but bikes are EXTREMELY expensive (150eur+ for 2), and it's not actually provided by the hotel, they are just middleman and you ultimately pay another shop which charges you exorbitant amounts to deliver the bike to the relais
6. It's Langhe. If you're not willing to pay minimum 60 euros for a 2min taxi ride eg to dinner because you'd like to drink, too bad. This seriously needs a solution. Taxi drivers are paid way too well and everyone should want to be one in Langhe.. even I am thinking about it!

Best part were the staff who were very nice, but even the location is alittle complicated. In the middle of La morra hill so car is a must
