The hotel was excellent, its location is very central, very comfortable, clean, the staff is lovely, very highly recommended.

Decide On Your Priorities
An excellent location for airport, train and local transport connections, and for getting around central Turin on foot (it is not a large city).
The staff were helpful; the room clean.
However, the hotel is basic and offers few services. There is a problem with external and internal sound-proofing, in particular from the trams outside and which start at 5.25 am. (On one day there was no hot water for a large chunk of time). In a number of respects the hotel could do with a revamp; though I can see why this might be difficult.
In sum, if you want cheap, simple and cheerful then this hotel is fine. If you want a bit more comfort, then you may be better off looking elsewhere.

Excellent location, within 5 minutes walk from the Torino Porta Nuova Train Station/ Carrefour Express/Penny mart. Room is big and clean and bathroom is amzingly spacious. The down side is tram way is so nearby, if your room is facing the Street with windows, the noise from the tram will be there from 6:30 am until 1am.

We came with 2 dogs and they where welcoming.
The room was nice and clean and every thing was very close.
The only problem we had was that my mom came at night and the we came before and they didn't found her reservation (not knowing we made it together)

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. We planned to stay for only 1 night but stayed for many nights more:) The reception speaks English very well and the workers are really friendly. We also very much enjoyed the bathtub in the economy room and the air conditioner worked great keeping us protected from hot Italian weather. The room was spacious, very cozy and had high ceilings. I also loved the bed which was really comfortable and the sheets were marvellous. I even loved the hair&body wash (with argan oil!) and they serve free coffee in the mornings! The price and the location of the hotel was also exceptional. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you!
Also. You don't HAVE TO leave the key at the reception, it is just a nice option because it might be inconvenient to carry it around.

Very nice and clean hotel with perfect location near to main train station. Few minutes of walking to all tourist location. Great big bathroom and friengly staff.

Bad hotel under all criticism. Smell of mildew. The plasma screen that is said to have a room that is 19-22 inches in size is not the cleanest toilet. Attitude of a simple bad service man. Every time you leave the hotel you have to return the room key?!?! In short at a price of 65 euros per night you can find better places
There is no refrigerator in the room. Near the beds there is no electrical outlet to charge phones and the like. The carpet in the hallway is dirty and looks old. There is no key in the bathroom.

Clean and quiet with friendly staff. Breakfast was good with coffee, not coffee like most hotels. It is certainly not luxurious and the hotel is a bit dated but the location is great. Just opposite the Porta Nuova station.

The Hotel Bologna is very close to the railway station of porta nuova,the old building, but all in all in good condition,clean,and the staff very helpful.

Great location (in front of the station Porta Nuova, the metro and the tram stop), friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Only flaw: there is a little bit of noise from the traffic.
