Ciccio and Susi are such fabulous hosts, we can only encourage anyone staying in the Agrigento area to consider this exceptional B & B experience, such personal, attentive service being a highlight of our multi-week trip around Sicily.
Other reviews here are rightly complimentary of the love and focus on quality that they have poured into renovating this old farmhouse, exceptionally comfortable and tasteful in its furnishings. The breakfasts are, indeed, legendary as any new guest will find out. If it is mutually convenient, an evening’s dining experience in-house is also highly recommended, as we put ourselves in Ciccio and Susi’s hands for an authentic Sicilian feast, with the bonus of many stories and laughs. Grazie mille!

I stayed three nights in November while sightseeing (temples, Porto Empedocle, etc). The room and the experience were wonderful. The hosts reached out in advance with helpful information, and gave me lots of tips while there. They also went above and beyond and drove me to the station when I left. The room was comfortable and super clean. The location is adorable. I can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely B&B featuring spacious, airy and stylishly decorated rooms. Located a few minutes walk from the main area of the atmospheric old town which has numerous superb dining options and sights to enjoy. The friendly and efficient hosts are always happy to make suggestions and arrangements and offer advice. Highly recommended.

A fantastic B&B in Agrigento. Excellent location in old town centre, clean, modern and tastefully decorated accommodation. Owners so helpful and personable. Great advice on parking, local area, what to visit, where to eat and bespoke, plentiful and delicious breakfast laid on the next day. Could not recommend more highly. Thank you.

We are a family of four and the Quadruple room was perfect for us. Giusy was great, responsive and accommodating. While we were unloading luggage from our car, she found and pointed out a parking spot for us, right next to the hotel, which saved us hassles of driving to a paid parking lot. The breakfast was delicious and wonderful. Our stay in Agrigento was brief but La Nuova Girgenti made it special. We will be back.

Beautifully renovated farm house that is the passion project of the host couple - and it shows! Beautiful public and private rooms, lovingly decorated spaces, excellent hospitality from the hosts… The breakfast ist fantastic, more than plenty and also handmade with love.
The location is great too, outside the city, but very handy for all Agrigento sights and activities.

Everything was perfect, from the genuine warm hospitality, the beautiful interior of the house, our spacious room with views of a 2000 year old Greek temple, to the unbelievable Sicilian breakfast made from locally sourced produce. I cannot recommend La Pagliera highly enough, and hopefully will one day enjoy a visit there again - non ce due senza tre.

We just loved this B&B. They are wonderful hosts and the room was great. The town might need to help tourists more but we had a great time. The manager was a great help with suggesting restaurants and transportation. A+++
