B&B Montemare in Agrigento

Very kind staff. The room was nice and clean with a beautiful balcony. The restaurant is amazing with great food and lots to choose from, with the most beautiful view. I was blown away with the amount of breakfast items available, with everything being tasty. We had a great stay.

Excellent service, abundant breakfast

Hotel with a pool. Dogs are welcome. It's about 15 km from Agrigento, but the roads are tricky. Narrow, steep, and you have to stop when someone's oncoming. Breakfast is very good. There's plenty of parking outside the hotel. The bed is a bit soft for my taste, but not uncomfortable.

The hotel owner and staff were very welcoming when we eventually got there. Bit of a trek into a tiny village at the top of a mountain. Nice cold beer after throwing case in room, after a sticky afternoon in the Valley. Food excellent: Carbonara seasoned just right, starter as well exceptional. Breakfast set us up for the day, checkin/checkout seem less. Recommend for all the above and a beautiful vista.

A Hidden Gem of Sicilian Hospitality

This charming, family-run Sicilian B&B was an absolute delight. From the warm hospitality to the cozy, authentic atmosphere, every moment felt like home. The real standout was the food—mostly homemade, such as olives, sundried tomatoes, roasted eggplants and zucchini, olive oil, etc. All bursting with flavor, and clearly crafted with love. Each bite was a delicious reminder of the region’s rich culinary tradition. If you’re looking for genuine Sicilian warmth and unforgettable food, this is the place.
A quick 20 minute drive to the valley of the temples or the Turkish steps.

Beautiful space with amazing food. It's located a bit outside Agrigento, so having a car is ideal, but there’s also a bus stop less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel (we took the 8:45 AM bus). Tickets are available at the café across from the stop. The town itself is charming, with lovely cafés offering coffee, drinks, and snacks. Although the pool was closed during our stay, the view was absolutely stunning — I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the summertime. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. I’d go back in a heartbeat! We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset walk that I highly recommend checking out!
