Hotel La Battigia in Alcamo Marina

Nice little hotel by the beach.
The food at the restaurant is not good value for money but otherwise the stay was perfect.

This is a place that deserves praise: the rooms are clean and confi, there is a nice pool and some ten stairs will take one to the beach and the Mediterranean sea on the hotel’s private beach. Dinner was delicious (our sea bream was cooked to perfection) and reasonably priced. The maitre d’h gave accurate advice on wine. etc But the best in this place is the staff: they are helpful, efficient and very nice. Enjoying a good breakfast I asked for real orange juice: it was squeezed and delivered in a matter of minutes. The receptionist and the maids couldn’t have been nicer. Congratulations !

This hotel was exceptional! Beautiful views, amazing staff & service. Everyone greets you and helps you. The pool is gorgeous and overlooks the sea. The room was perfect. I could not recommend more. Even their restaurant was good! I suggest having a car there though, so you can travel at your leisure. They were able to call taxis for other guests, but renting a car was the best for me. We were able to pick up and go as we please.

The pool with the view of the beach and sea that was 30 seconds away was the great highlight. It was relaxing, clean and peaceful hotel without crowds and noise. The ocean waves was the only noise. It’s a great place to stay with the family for a quiet and chill vacation. The breakfast was great and filling with lots of options and great service from the staff. But if you want to shop, have dinning options, nightlife action, then you need to take a shuttle to Castelemare that’s 15 min away. Shuttles or taxis are not cheap. 25 euro one way. No parking available.

I was very pleased with our stay. Giusy at the front desk was super helpful and the rooms were clean. The location was beautiful and the location was great for the local attractions. I recommend this hotel. The only downside was the cab connections from the hotel to Palermo could have been more accommodating.

One of the best hotel position I have ever stayed at. The view is absolutely stunning, the service and the food was amazing. The view of the sea and the pool is spectacular. It made my holiday better staying here 😊 Thank you so much! Highly recommend!👌🏼

It’s a great little hotel just not 4 star

Our family of four (two adults and two kids, aged 2 and 6) had an unforgettable stay at Hotel La Battigia from June 25th to July 2nd 2024. The hotel is perfectly situated right on the beach, making it an ideal destination for families with young children. The private beachfront offers shallow, sandy waters, which are perfect for little ones to safely enjoy. The sunsets in the evening were absolutely stunning, adding a magical touch to our evenings. The restaurant at Hotel La Battigia deserves special mention for its high-quality and delicious meals. As a family with celiac requirements, we were delighted to find that the restaurant could prepare almost everything on the menu gluten-free. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. Francesco P., the Restaurant Manager, ensured that everything was perfectly controlled and that our meals were gluten-free. Francesco R. and Francesco L. were fantastic with our kids, always making them laugh and ensuring that whatever we ordered was prepared to our specifications. We also want to highlight the exceptional reception staff— Giusy, Lucia, Danila, and Cristina—who were always guest-focused and attentive to our needs. Their warm hospitality and dedication to service made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, Hotel La Battigia in Alcamo, Sicily, is a wonderful destination for families. With its beautiful beachfront location, excellent dining options, and attentive staff, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in 2025.
