We were given a room with no window or only one that looked onto a brick wall. On the fourth floor 60 steps up and down each time was difficult. Recommend you make more of the fact there is no lift

Very nice room with round bed, indoor jacuzzi. Location is perfect, everything is in walking distance. From your balcony, there is a charming alley with bars and restaurants, but the windows isolate the noise very well. Great place to stay, clean and very central.

Very good location, clean made every day. The noise outside is not so friendly,but it is not the owner of the hotel's fault. It is located in the center of the town, and until the beach there is a max 40 minutes walk. The bus from the airport has the station at the hotel. There are a lot of supermarkets in the area. There is also a very big local market every morning near the hotel.

The room is lovely and the location is central. There are 35 steps and no lift, so access would be difficult for anyone with a disability. Sleep is also difficult, because noisy youths gather outside the nearby McDonalds and the city street sweepers practice their craft outside your window from 4am .. round and round they go for an hour.

Scanning passports is not permitted in the EU! Upon arrival, they wanted to scan the passport, which is prohibited under the European General Data Protection Regulation. Italian registration law does not require a photo! The landlord must, of course, check the passport, document the number and name, and the date of birth. There is no right to save the guest's photo, signature, height, eye color, etc...

Nice hotel in the city center. Everything within walking distance. Hotel service is good and staff is friendly. The air conditioning leaked a lot, but for the price, the hotel is okay. Parking is very convenient, but you have to know where to find it. It's next to Scout. You call the hotel and the doors open automatically.

What a fantastic find. I travel a lot (and solo) and for a single room one of the more affordable comfortable ones! While I went in a heat wave so AC could be a bit stronger it was very comfortable overall. The staff were amazing and made the difference. Easy automatic check in, let me check out 30mins later than usual and overall so friendly and helpful. Loved and will be staying again

Beautiful room with comfortable bed. The room haven't had a window but we have been traveling whole days. Great communication with owner. The best breakfast a near the hotel. We needed to pay for parking but the space was next to the front door so remember to have some coins with you if you travelling by car. All good.

The only good thing was the location. The carpet in the hallway was terrible and dirty, the room was nice but had old fixtures and the shower was full of limescale. Bad story.

The tariff is competitive, the landlady is nice, the location is good for the tourists. The downside is that our room was noisy at night with revellers' shouting and in the early morning for the preparation of setting up the open air stalls down the street. With the poor noise protection, not recommended for shallow sleepers. In the end, you get what you paid.

I arrived in Catania after a long series of flights from the US. I was greeted by Paolo who insisted on carrying my luggage up to my top floor room. After I was settled, he walked me around the neighborhood pointing out his favorite restaurants and told me about some of the attractions in Catania.
