This was the worst experience for us. This apartment is terrible and very dirty. This place is a big failure. Only the central location is consistent with the description of the property. The room lacks everything, there is no kettle, not even one glass, let alone a refrigerator. We were there for three nights and during our absence someone entered the room without our permission! I would advise against this place, at this price you can find many rooms with a much higher standard, and this place has no standard at all. Even opening the door to the room was problematic, every time we tried to open it, the sink was clogged and dust was omnipresent. We did not change rooms because it was a waste of time. I absolutely do not understand the high ratings. The description of the place on the website absolutely does not agree with the actual condition. The advertisement states that breakfast is included, but when we asked about coffee, we were told that "we stopped providing everything because there are great restaurants nearby." Believe me, this place is awful.

The property is located just steps from the Quattro Canti, an excellent location for walking to all attractions. We found our room a bit dated and definitely in need of a makeover. The headboard is made of fabric, which is not washable and therefore unhygienic. The air conditioning is noisy, so if it's very hot and you have to leave it on at night, it would be annoying. The soundproofing is terrible. The street on which the property is located, despite being in the city center, is not particularly noisy. A positive note: despite not being a hotel, but simply a room rental, the room was cleaned daily. The value for money is average.

The hotel is in a really great location and overall not very expensive compared to the average B&B in the historic center. Unfortunately, however, it did not live up to the expectations from the pictures and the reviews. The pictures are staged and probably photoshopped because neither the hotel nor our room looked anything like the pictures. The hotel is really an old apartment in an old building and everything (and I mean everything) is super old and generally crappy. Don't be distracted by the "oh so quirky" reviews -- just because a room is painted in red, it doesn't make it nice. Anyway, the biggest problems for us were the building smelling pretty bad (when you enter it, you are met with a pretty awful sewer smell) and the bathroom situation. The shower was clogged pretty badly after 30 seconds of running water but at least the occasional cockroach would keep you company (see picture). The rest of the room is pretty bare. The bedsheets barely cover the mattress so if you move a bit during the night you find yourself on the bare mattress. There is no TV, the WiFi didn't work on our last night (all night), there is no place to put your toothbrushes, etc., and the closet was super small and had some old dirty pillows in it. The walls/doors are super thin so it's pretty noisy throughout the night. The check-in was also not particularly easy, we needed to coordinate by phone with the owner (whom we never saw) so they could remotely let us in and we had to call several times until they picked up.

The place is not up to standard. Very old building with little maintenance. Electrical fittings are old and don't inspire confidence. No wardrobe or mini fridge, the paint on the wall needs a new coat and the curtains need replacing. The air condition unit looks like 15 years old. I switched it off after 2 minutes as it was letting off a bad smell. No luggage store that can be locked. Only thing in good/almost new condition is the en suite bathroom. Common areas are cluttered with old stuff. Thanked my stars I was there for just 1 night. Otherwise I would have looked for another place.

Very friendly and helpful host, directly in the city center of Palermo, clean, proper air condition, quiet, all in all a very nice place! Can suggest it and would definitely book it again when coming back to this wonderful city! Can highly recommend this place.

Oh what a place , totally different, but absolutely fabulous, right in the middle of everything, cafes , restaurants, bars etc . Owner , amazingly helpful in every way . Clean , tidy everything you could want , would I stay again YES in a heartbeat and hopefully will in the future
