Comfortable, very nice hotel located a 5-10 minute walk from the main sights of Florence (Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi gallery). The staff speaks fluent English, very friendly. Car keys left on reception, a hotel employee himself drives her to the garage (located across the street costs 20 euros per day). The rooms are small but cosy, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Great Breakfast. Drawback - the wifi password which will be given at the reception, valid only until midnight. In General, I can safely recommend this hotel. 4* very, very well.

I have stayed in this family-owned hotel for 4 years with my students on our study abroad experience. You will find no kinder hotel owners and employees. They are consistently helpful and willing to answer a million questions. The location is perfect for walking to all of the city attractions. Breakfast is included and the gathering room is comfy and welcoming. We will return again and again!

Starting off with the positives. The breakfast was good, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location was wonderful. The small cons: the room was small and hot. However, my wife and I left the hotel after three nights with bug bites all over our body and there was a bed bug trap under the bed.

Excellent room! If you book try to get room 42 (nice terrace on the roof and it looks like the only one!) Very clean and the staff was extremely nice. Breakfast in the Dining hall every morning. Would definitely stay again! It's about a 20-25 min walk from the train station.

Lovely and helpful staff. I really enjoyed the hotel. The bathroom was a little on the small side and the hotel could use some updating but it gave it lots of character. I would definitely stay again.

WORST EXPERIENCE!! The room was very dirty. You could smell the dust and the curtains were dirty. Instead of a double bed it was two mattresses. The bathroom didn't had anything to hold the toilet paper. The shower was all broken and so small you could barely take a shower by yourself. The ventilation for the toilets were connected too the light and made so much noise it was impossible to switch on the light during the night without waking up the other person. On the pictures the rooms looked big and nice and on the moment everything seemed rotten. It's written it should be a 3 stars hotel but at this point they should make an effort to clean a bit more, especially for this price.

The room is average size for Europe. It is nice. The bathroom is nice. The shower is super small. The smallest shower I have been on. The carpet is very dirty and they use a bedspread that has probably never been washed. The safe is broken so they put another portable (I carried it down to the desk to ask how the was safe). Stupid. The ac is ok. The workers are good but they act like I should not be complaining. The shower does not drain. I am disappointed and will not stay here again. The advertise having a bar and restaurant. They do not have restaurant but do serve a great breakfast. They have full bar but it is not always open. I have been on a month long trip and this is the only bad review I have given. The only thing the management will say if they see this is sorry. How about you fix the issues.
