A beautiful hotel in the heart of Florence. Nowhere was too far to walk. The room was amazing and the surroundings were magnificent. The staff were fantastic and the bar area was amazing with a live Piano play on each evening.

During my stay, the hotel was undergoing a large-scale renovation. Half of the entrance was sealed, the lobby became smaller, and the rooftop restaurant with a view was closed. It looks like this project will take more than a year to complete.

There are cockroaches in the room, the bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work at all, and we informed the staff on the first day, but they still ignored it. Breakfast is always just two types of vegetables, monotonous, and with a very low cost-to-value ratio compared to the price. The toilet paper often doesn’t flush properly. It’s a hollow hotel that’s all show, pretending to be luxurious.

This is the best hotel we stayed in Italy, with amazing attention to details, including room facilities where you will be amazed by the set up of the bathtub, the concierge, Cosmo, who can book you any restaurant in the city and grant you VIP treatment in The Mall Firenza, the doorman’s hospitality is also amazing, plus it is in the center of of city where all the hot spots are in walking distance...

The suite we booked is in Rococo style. It's very beautiful and clean. It has an excellent location. There's also a super delicious dessert shop called Iginio Massari opposite. I've been to Florence many times and this hotel is my favorite.

However, the basic room type is not in the main building, but in another building, which has a seafood restaurant and a separate breakfast room. It's a bit different from how it used to be, but the staff are friendly and the rooms are well-cleaned. The absolute best part? The Duomo is just a 5-minute walk away, haha! Other spots are also easily accessible. The Central Station is less than 10 minutes away, and getting around to all the tourist sites is super convenient. I'm thoroughly satisfied.

This hotel doesn't live up to its five-star reputation. The location is okay (though Florence is small, so walking distance isn't all that far), but everything else is just okay. We had 2 rooms. The breakfast and room service menu are limited and not worth it. The street side room was very noisy with late night revelers and pedestrian activities. We enjoyed massages at the spa. The decor was wondeful.

From the day I arrived. I arrived a little early the staff accommodated me getting me into my room, in the morning the breakfast buffet was great ! Service was outstanding…staff was very kind, concierge team were TOP….but the property doesn’t merit the cost. We got an upgrade, but when you cannot sleep, size of the room doesn’t really matter… Mattress is not “five star” (but the rates are), the noise outside means you take an afternoon nap and the AC cannot cool the room on a hot summer day. Wonderful time in Florence! Spent a wonderful week in Florence. We had a small glitch at the end of our stay, which was not any fault of the hotel. Due to Florence marathon on Sunday and the 24 rail strike, which started on Saturday night, we had to extend our stay. The staff did everything they could to help us with alternate travel plans.

We're traveling as a family, so we always book a family room for the convenience of being together. This hotel is generally good, with a great location, nice rooms, and excellent service. Most importantly, the location is fantastic! Haha. However, parking is a bit difficult, especially in the old town. If you're driving, be careful and watch out for tickets.

The room is clean but not luxurious. The hotel is a small historic house with many rooms. The service of a small hotel is attentive and because there are not many guests, every guest will be remembered. It is very warm and nice.

We had a wonderful stay at the Donati luxury suites. It was centrally located and we could walk anywhere as we were in the centre. The hotel staff was extremely helpful especially Francesco and Emily. The service was impeccable. We will definitely be back to stay at the treasure again. We were so pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a hotel. At first the tiny entrance and front desk will disappoint however once we reached our room we were breathless. Incredible view of the Duomo and so tastefully decorated. We have massive junior suite that comfortably sleeps 4 persons with two separate bathrooms. A real gem in the middle of Florence. We stayed in the Giotto suite which had beautiful views of the Duomo from both the living room and bedroom. The unit has a second bathroom with a shower which was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room is small. Although there is a window, it is closed because it is a bit noisy facing the street. The room is stuffy and obviously much more humid than hotels in Milan and Rome. When checking in, they offered a welcome drink but it was charged. It was a bit strange to wait for a long time in the lounge. The overall hygiene is OK. The biggest feeling is that it is small, stuffy and humid.

A beautiful luxury hotel that has been open for less than two years. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of three menus. The refrigerator and minibar are free, and water is provided for the number of guests every day. The location is very central, so it is convenient.

Best hotel experience in Italy!! Wow, what a beautiful place in a beautiful location. The staff was kind and the room was big and so comfortable. I think that the design of this amazing hotel says a lot. Go there! The price is a bit high - but what you pay is what you get. This place emphasis value for money.

Place is really nice. Old styled but with high tech amenities. The room was comfortable and cosy. The palm buddy is an awesome touch. Free calls, room service and tour guide. Food is great along with the service. As you step out the door you are treated by high fashion shops.
