A very artistically decorated hotel that leaves a lasting impression. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and the rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious. The overall atmosphere of the hotel truly makes it memorable.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel this past July for almost a week with the recommendation of Enrique. When I first arrived along with my husband, the people at the front of the door helped open the door

My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. In my opinion, it is better than the ones in America. It was nice to try the coffee with their coffee machines. Might I add, not all hotels offer a juicer

The hotel is located right on the edge of the Old Town, making it super convenient and close for walking there (about 10-15 minutes on foot to get into the Old Town). I think the location is really good

Room was great with a nice patio overlooking a section of the Arno River. The location of the hotel is very nice as it is walking distance to the River. I even walked there during sunset hour

The hotel is also within walking distance to all the attractions. I recommend it because the hotel facilities are new, the surroundings are quiet, and it's convenient for getting around

Great location! All tourism spots are in walkable distance! And we enjoyed walking around the city very much! Their facilities are amazing, swimming pool and gym room are located on the roof top which gives us the best view of Firenze

The room is gorgeous. Clean and full of amenities. The service is good too. Complementary laundry is essential for me as I do not need to carry lots of clothing. The environment is vibrant and full of youngsters.

Just a few hundred meters from the hotel is Piazza della Libertà, which isn't crowded with tourists and is definitely worth a visit. If I come back to Florence, I'll definitely stay here again

This hotel is a wonderful choice for a comfortable stay, with a great vibe throughout. One of the highlights is the stunning rooftop lounge and pool area, offering breathtaking views of the city

This hotel is a renovated old building, and the ceilings must be at least four meters high, giving it a 'new wine in an old bottle' kind of feel, which is absolutely fantastic

The rooftop bar has reasonable prices, and on the day I arrived, I actually won a free drink – what a lucky draw! The hotel also offers free laundry, which is a huge plus

Although the hotel is located around 5 km from the city centre, the complimentary daily shuttle van made getting into town very convenient and stress-free

Nice location -- convenient if you drive to the city. Good breakfast -- an abundant choice for a proper start to the day. Quiet and clean room.

service not good except t for the shuttle service which was exceptionally good , the drivers know what customer service is all about. The room cleaning was not done well. The bed was not turned for the night

2) BEWARE: the whirlpool is not free!! It costs 20 euro per person. 3) We had some issues with our ac. Although we were able to adjust the settings and to put it on, it kept on going off after 10 minutes or so

Overall, it was convenient and suitable, though a bit noisy since it's right by the road.

now you might tell me, bro, 10 euro!!! that's nothing. And you might be right, but still, it just seems like a small way for this hotel to make another 10 euro per customer when the parking can just be free

The towels are the biggest and comfiest I've ever seen! Breakfast every morning is delicious, don't miss out

great location friendly staff. the hotel helped a lot with the luggage. all the basic amenities were available in the room. like we really needed the electric kettle in the room which was available without any deposit

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, very good location, all of Florence is in walking distance. Nice room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good.

Check-in was seem less, staff is accommodating, and the location is central to everything! I've been walking distance to everywhere I've wanted to see. Room is spacious and meets my needs

We had a good time at this hotel. Hotel is walking distance to the touristy Florence area and a 15 min walk to the train station. Highlight was them having a nice cozy area on the rooftop with a small pool

It was a nice hotel, costco recommended, nice rooftop pool with a beautiful view of Florence Italy, decent buffet breakfast with a lot if choices

The toilet ran constantly, and the shower had a broken seal at the bottom of the glass, which caused water to flood the floor—we had to use most of our towels to soak it up

Would recommend this hotel for its convenience, it was a 15 minute walk to the train station and right along the river. It was also a 15 minute driver from the airport and walkable to all major attractions in Florence

The room itself was pretty standard, nothing out of the ordinary but we did enjoy the breakfast buffet in the morning

Easy walk from train station. Quiet, but safe area. Hallways were a bit damp and carpets need a refresh. Breakfast was good with efficient service. Very good hotel, but nothing that really stands out.

Stayed 4 nights with family and kids. One of the best hotels in the world. The service is superb, always there when needed anything. The housekeeping cleans the room twice or more a day

Breakfast is always just two types of vegetables, monotonous, and with a very low cost-to-value ratio compared to the price. The toilet paper often doesn’t flush properly

Excellent hotel, our room was very dark and from the entrance it smelled like sewage but it was super clean and comfortable. Alessandro the concierge was very efficient, polite and provided excellent service

My wife and i would happily start the day with handmade lattes and delicious assortment of breakfast food. I’m not certain there can be a hotel more centrally located

Every morning between 4-5, the night manager would great me with a genuinely big smile and offer to make me a coffee. He’d also bring me some shortbread cookies

It is so nice to not have to have to leave the hotel to have a cocktail. The bed and pillows were very comfortable

For some reason I got an upgrade to a suite which was sensational a lovely complimentary bottle of red wine together with a packet of biscotti. The rooftop pool and bar were sensational with sensational views as well

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. First, the location is wonderful. You can walk nearly anywhere you want to go within 20 minutes, but all the major sights are no more than 10-15

Unfortunately, the room we had didn't have any view apart from some rooftops. However, we were out most of the time enjoying the food, drinks, and sights of the cobbled streets of the town

Perfection - From the moment we walked in to the moment we left you guys knew are name and we’re nothing but polite and professional through out are whole stay! On top of that the hotel was amazing, clean and perfectly located

We only stopped in for a drink after dinner but beautiful hotel, bar and lobby. Can’t speak about the rooms but I’m sure they’re beautiful. Centrally located in Florence on Borgo Pinti. Hope to stay here one day

I booked one night through AMEX with an upgrade to a suite, four categories above the standard room, exactly as shown in the photos. The hotel is absolutely stunning and the welcome we received was exceptional

Because the specific treatment I requested was not available, the hotel generously sent many beautiful gifts to the room. The suite itself was extremely luxurious and comfortable

Incredible views from the huge rooftop bar/pool deck. Wonderful breakfast buffet with many hot and cold options. Main level bar is beautiful and the seating areas are both well-appointed and comfortable

We had rooms with views of the river, and the hills beyond, quiet and super clean, and used the pool daily

Also, pool is just a box and more of a cooling down pit, you can’t swim in it! Nice bar area too and lots of places to sit

I cannot recommend, and thank the people who work there enough- Tomas, Luka, and our lovely housekeeping staff, everyone just made the stay feel comfortable, and the hotel feel like a sanctuary after days spent climbing bell towers, and visiting Cyprus lined hills

Wonderful and clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. 25 minute or less walk to major sites. Was nice to feel at the edge of the city for less noise and view of the river but still walkable to everything.

Too bad though that the chairs in the terrace were uncomfortable and rusty. The pool and hotel terrace view are much smaller than the pictures but they are well maintained

Pity no evening meals but plenty of restaurants nearby. On day of departure we could not go to breakfast so they supplied a carry out "box". Short walk to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and downtown tourist sites

We also liked the roof top area where you can have a drink, or just sit to admire the panoramic views. Location of the hotel is excellent, just a few minutes walk from main train station and T2 tram stop from airport

Our room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed and pillows, housekeeping did a wonderful job. We enjoyed the breakfast, there's a good variety and the staff very attentive and polite

It was not good that the shower room was flooded. The light in the bathroom did not work, which was a problem. The water was sometimes cloudy

You can easily walk to all the tourist attraction sites, and there are many restaurants nearby

And the service at the hotel was top notch! Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and truly enjoyable experience

Great hotel in the heart of Florence. It has a modern style decoration. It is good if you don’t enjoy very romantic and traditional decoration which is very common in Florence hotels. Bathrooms are particularly spacious

Super clean, staff is very helpful. There is valet parking (before 00:00). Very secure, locks the doors in the night and during the day entrance is via room key

And speaking of relaxation, the bedsheets were incredibly comfy - easily among the best we've ever experienced at a hotel

We slept like a dream! The breakfast was great, with a fantastic selection to start our days right. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it easy to explore the area

If you are looking for a great location, this is it. If you are looking for service, sorry please dont expect anything. At least 3 calls for room service (refilling our shampoo). No one will reply to your email

I personally feel that this price is very cost-effective, and it takes 20 minutes to get to the city center by bus. It feels great to have breakfast by the swimming pool every day.

The official photos did show the poolside breakfast, but the hotel exterior and lobby were old, with stained and damaged walls, a stark contrast to the pictures I saw when booking

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very clean and tidy. When it comes to the break fast meal. Hotel has a variety of options to get from so you will be ready for the day

The breakfast initially felt stale (perhaps leftovers from yesterday?). The ham and fruit were a bit off. The room was clean, but very dated

It has a bus stop right outside the hotel. Which is very convenient. The room was Just enough staying for a night. Don’t expect too much.

The parking facilities were convenient and secure, making it easy for us to explore Florence without any worries. And of course, the swimming pool was a perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Grifone Firenze! Our stay at Grifone Firenze was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel right at home with their friendly smiles and professional service

Breakfast was just okay. The location is convenient, close to the train station, and there's a tram right outside that goes directly to Florence Airport. You can walk to the Duomo in under half an hour.

What an amazing hotel! I read the past reviews and can’t understand how it’s not getting 5 stars for its price! It is central, has air conditioning, has amazing customer service (Joana was amazing at accommodating us through all of our trip and Alice , the bartender that day, was great at the bar)

This hotel was excellent! We stayed at two hotels in Florence, and this one was so much better than the other. The other one, B&B Hotel Firenze Novoli, was absolutely horrendous

Great 5 star hotel within walking distance of Florence. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from central Florence. They also have a shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes between 9 to 5 as well

The location is 25 min walk from city center, shuttles are nice but there are only 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. If you want to drive back later than 18:00 you need to take public transportation or taxi

Note the city tax (8€ per night per person) atr note included. Other extra services are very expensive: 29€ per day for parking a car, laundry is per item and socks are 3€ so it sums up high

Breakfast is your typical buffet with breads, eggs, bacon and cereals as well as cheese/meats plates. Coffee is made using a real machine by hand and is also good

The pool was fantastic and relaxing after a days sightseeing with fantastic views over Florence. Very comfy bed and no noise to be heard at night. I would definitely stay here again

Perfect rooftop terrace and pool on the roof. Walls made of paper and lots of noise coming in from the corridor. All in all a great hotel but the noise part makes it not worth the ~200€ price tag.

Paul, their head concierge, is beyond exceptional. Provided a lot of help with day trips and recommendations that we took and loved. They even helped with a car rental that was dropped and picked up at the hotel

Also, we utilised the pool which was refreshing and in excellent condition and the massage was possibly the best ever experienced! The only drawback I hesitate to add is that our wish for the AC to be cooler but we are Australian and prefer it that way

We were there in April 2025. The service was beyond excellent, the hotel and grounds were breathtaking, and the food was very good. I would highly recommend staying there and we will be back soon.

The best hotel we have stayed at. Its quiet luxury in terms of service - the hotel staff at all levels are down to earth and treat everyone equally and kindly and their service does leave you wanting for anything

The view it’s gorgeous, the quality of the food too and the people that work there are amazing. I have travelled a lot for work and I never had a positive and warm experience like this one

And Paul also came and picked us up when the taxis were on strike for a night (so kind). The rooms are immaculate and extremely clean. They are beautifully decorated and spacious

Solid modern room with beautiful views from the terrace. Located 7 mins walk from Santa Novella station and 10 min walk from the major sites. Also right next to the markets. Service was fantastic and friendly
