I stayed with a group of friends on an Art retreat and we were extremely well looked after. Our meal’s were thoughtfully prepared and our hosts were very friendly and went the extra mile to accommodate us all. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and comfortable and in a beautiful location. The Biancospino B&B is located 5 minutes from the center of Abbadia San Salvatore, outside an ordinary building...but on the second floor, with no elevator. Stayed a couple of nights at the end of Sept. It was ok; nothing special and a bit overpriced bearing in mind pools etc were already shut. Maybe we just caught it right at the end of its season and not at its best. It served a purpose for us but wouldn’t revisit.

Just the perfect holiday spot. The park is really quiet and peaceful, just what you want when you’re on holiday. It’s a wide camping area with several pools surrounded by beautiful nature, close to the beautiful sarteano center. Very big camping location (too big to our personal liking). At this time of the year it was nearly empty and very quiet. Everything was clean and although the very nice looking pool which is for the campsite only was already closed for the season, we could use the also nice public one. You can walk easily to the small and also very quiet village (just a few hundred meters).

We spent a few days in the camp recently. Facilities are well maintained and very clean, swimming pools are amazing, staff was friendly, and Sarteano offers plenty of little cafes and restaurants to be discovered. Recommended!

On the edge of a real Tuscan village with few tourists, you really can't beat location. Our 8th visit and it remains a favourite place of the family. Stayed at this site three times before via camping companies. The mobile home was probably the best equipped in over 35 years experience. A really nice hotel but significant issues with air conditioning- didn’t work properly when it was on and is turned off for most of the night - not great in early summer in Tuscany with 30 plus temps. Needs to be addressed.

Everything was very nice, and above all, very friendly and accommodating. English is spoken well. We also really appreciated the proper breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, cold cuts and cheese, cakes, muesli, etc., and not just the dry croissant with a dollop of jam that's so common in Italy. Magnificent! Magnificent, full of charm. The welcome is fantastic and the owner speaks French. The hotel-restaurant is in a quiet location, the restaurant is very good and offers Italian cuisine, and a pizza menu that is excellent. There is a private, open parking lot where we were able to park our motorcycle.

What a lovely and welcoming place in the middle of Tuscany. Surrounded by olive and fig trees, lavender and the beautiful sceenery. Fulvia is a perfect host who is always there for her guests. We spent two nights here with our little one and enjoyed the comfy place which almost feels like home (but fortunately you are on holiday...).

You could find plenty of equally beautiful places to stay in Tuscany. But I doubt you could find better people than Fulvia and Umberto to host you. It’s the people that make the place and this place is amazing. Plus watching the sunset over the olive trees with the breeze is absolutely magical. I like having the kitties around, too. Very clean and the bed was comfy. What more could you ask for??

We visited Montepulciano for the wine and then looked for somewhere to stay. This place seemed to fit the bill, about 15 minutes away with lots of 4* hotels at low prices. How lucky we were. The town is the strangest place. This town has has about 50 hotels but only 10 open, the rest boarded-up, unloved or simply abandoned with weeds growing out of roofs, carparks etc. It's an industrial archaeolgists...

Great hotel, delicious food with large portions. Breakfast was also excellent, nothing to complain about. And a good, spotlessly clean room with air conditioning. The beds were a bit hard, that's the only downside. But if you put the blanket on the bed under the bottom sheet, that's solved. I'd read some bad reviews, but in my opinion, they were completely unfounded!

Terrific staff, food good, great views, scrupulously clean . Room had a few quirks eg the only power socket was behind a piece of furniture and the light switches had a mind of their own. Basic but Very clean. My room on a solo tour was large with twin beds. Bathroom was large and powerful shower. Hairdryer attached to the wall. No kettle tea facility in bedrooms. Continental breakfast each morning (buffet). I’d forgotten my Italian plug socket so borrowed one for 10euro deposit. Plain food but tasty. Beds weren’t memory foam but I slept well. All in all it met my needs…..

Can't say so much about the rooms because I went there for a Christmas dinner. Outside and inside the hotel had made a lot of effort to create a Christmas feeling. Friendly staff and excellent food.

Good localisation for group. Ours rooms were not ready on time, but in reception you can find very polite and friendly Sylwia (polish speaking women). She stayed after her working hours and coordinate mess. Food was ok.

We stayed for my birthday at this hotel, which I've known for several years, and I must confirm my complete satisfaction with everything: comfortable rooms, excellent food, and accessibility to everything. A building from another era, yet efficient, functional, and above all, spotlessly clean. A family atmosphere with kindness and exquisite courtesy, something we're no longer accustomed to. The food is simple, but authentic and tasty. Breakfast is good, though not very varied. We'll definitely return.

Felt like stuck in a Wes Anderson movie , unreal time travel

The building, like the rest of Chianciano, is stuck in the 1970s and 1980s. That said, the hotel is very clean, with fairly large rooms and decent balconies. Convenient for visiting nearby places (Montepulciano and Pienza, for example). The food (since we booked full board) was decent. Prices were absolutely reasonable. Worth considering if necessary.
