Le Buche Wine Resort & Spa in Sarteano

Villa Le Buche truly lived up to our expectations and more! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the spectacular view across the valley.

Every morning, we were greeted with a breathtaking panorama, and evenings were spent mesmerized by the stunning sunsets. It was the perfect backdrop for our family vacation.

The villa was beautifully appointed, with ample space for everyone in our family to relax and unwind. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-equipped, and the communal areas were perfect for gathering and enjoying each other's company. We particularly appreciated the catered dinners, the amazing kitchen, the pool and the spa.

Beyond the stunning location and luxurious accommodations, what truly made our stay special was the onsite team. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive to our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.

We didn’t stay at the resort but we did a wine and olive oil tasting. This is a super place. If you’re anywhere near Chiusi or Sarteano do not miss this place. The wine is first rate and not very expensive. Many bottles are under $30 and well worth it.

I recently returned from this fabulous, magical place! I'm a travel agent who accompanied 25 other people. There are 13 bedrooms with private bathrooms. They have a restaurant quality kitchen along with multiple living rooms and a large dining room surrounded by glass sliding doors that overlook the pool in the vineyards.
We also did an on-site wine tour which was incredible. Although we did other wine tours throughout the area, my favorite was their own!
I definitely will be back again and plan to book clients as well. Riccardo, who is the owner, is also the owner of a nearby hotel if you have a smaller group. The service was quite excellent!

A large group of us rented out the whole villa. For the price you pay it really is great value for money. We all enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We loved the villa, the rooms all with en-suite bathrooms, the huge kitchen and the beautiful pool. The villa used to be a boutique hotel and therefore has all the amenities needed. It was an amazing stay.
We also did a wine tour which was great, they showed us around the vineyards, took us through the winery and finished off with a lovely wine tasting. Will definitely be back.

We came to Le Buche for one of their wine tours, error on my end with miscommunication and the time we were late for our tour. I message Lucia and she was more than accommodating, she said she could give us a faster version of the tour that way we could still do the tasting. Got there did the tasting and ended up doing a tour with the next group. Our taxi was supposed to pick us up at 5pm, so we asked about buying a bottle of wine and waiting there since we have no method of transportation. Our taxi was late, and she let us stay while she cleaned up so we didn’t have to wait out in the heat. The wine was great, cheese and meat was a great compliment to the wine. Overall great experience even with the hiccups we had, Lucia was amazing and if you’re thinking about it do it! Oh and she speaks English so if you’re here visiting and are afraid of not knowing what’s going on, don’t fret! Honestly a great tour and time we had!

We had a lovely stay in Le Buche Wine Resort. Daniele and Riccardo are very good hosts and have taken great care of us. The diners were excellent and the wine tasted even better! Thank you so much for making our holiday amazing. We can recommend Le Buche to anyone!

xcellent Resort in the country side...we spent a week at this hotel/resort in Sarteano, excerllent in all respects, friendly and very professional, The hotel well above the average. one out door swimming pool surrounded by olive trees, restaurant and breakfast is served on the out door terrace with breath taking vies of the Tuscan hills, the room we had was with small terrace, and well cared for, the spa is well equiped and easy access from all rooms, the high light: the hrbal tea.
