il Biancospino in Abbadia San Salvatore

The Biancospino B&B is located 5 minutes from the center of Abbadia San Salvatore, outside an ordinary building...but on the second floor, with no elevator. The B&B has a shabby chic style, clean rooms, and a good breakfast. The only downside is that the morning temperatures are 3 degrees Celsius outside, and the radiators are off (both in the bedroom and bathroom). The owner, Elena, doesn't greet you, but she tells you via WhatsApp how to get in. Roberta and her colleagues are exceptional, they make you feel right at home.

I stayed at this B&B for three nights. The atmosphere was very welcoming and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even recommending places to visit and eat. It was a truly positive experience, and I'll definitely return.

Parking is a bit inconvenient, but the welcome was excellent. The rooms were very nice, with TVs and spacious showers.
The common room with tea and herbal teas is ALWAYS available. For example, if I couldn't sleep one night, I just went out, went to the common room, and found the herbal teas relaxing. Excellent service indeed!
The staff (perhaps the manager) provided information about the area and excursions, which allowed us to plan the perfect daily itinerary. A quiet place to base ourselves for excursions (by car, from there).

A very relaxing, clean and well furnished place to stay. When you arrive you are greeted with lovely music in the main room and you can see the thought and care put into every aspect of the place. The breakfast room is very clean and you are given a lovely big breakfast with savoury and sweet options. The owner (I believe) greets you and serves you to ensure all covid measures are met. The room and bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. Would highly recommend this place!

A corner of pure rest in the Val d'Orcia. Rooms furnished in an accurate way and with an extremely relaxing style.

With my family we had a very good time in this b & b: the hosts are very kind and super available for any need: prepare you for breakfast chocolates, coffee, cappuccinos ..; give you directions on nearby places to visit, provide advice or listen to customer requests. The rooms are really nice, very clean and tidy with great care. The breakfast is abundant and there are both sweet and savory dishes. The only flaw is the lack of an elevator to get to the 2nd floor but be aware that those who arrive tired to cross the door will be able to make up for it with iced tea, fresh water and other drinks from the common room left generously available to guests (and for me this is a great cuddle). The location is also very good: if you fancy an ice cream overlooking a picturesque lake, going out and heading to the left you will find after a small climb and a short walk the Lucky Lake; going to the right you will find a pizzeria that I recommend for its dishes and kindness of the staff - La lucciola - and, in less than 5 minutes, you will be entering the town center.
