Hotels in Siena

This is a small hotel that exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent. Two things: firstly, it's very close to Siena Cathedral and Piazza del Duomo; secondly, it's right next to the Old City Gate, effectively avoiding ZTL restrictions. The service is particularly outstanding; the manager can quickly provide guidance and answer your questions via email. The window offers a view of the Old Cathedral

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable, fresh sheets, bedding. Staff were courteous, friendly.

Our stay was nice. The place was very clean. The owner was very nice and accomodating. Just one warning, there are general curtains up that you can kind of see through. No issue but be prepared.

Excellent location!!! In the old center of Siena. Doesn't feel like a 4-star hotel. Breakfast is delivered to your room upon prior request. The breakfasts are good. The train station is a 20-25-minute walk away.

Location, service and room are great. There’s no blackout curtains though so be sure to pack your eye mask! And, it faces a square that happened to be hosting a very festive party one of the nights we stayed - so earplugs would have been good. The second night was nice and quiet so overall would recommend

Probably the best location, with parking and access by car, and the closest proximity to the historic part of the city. Simona kindly met us in the parking lot and showed us to our room. It's a two-story building, with a small lobby, common areas, and rooms on the second floor. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It was really good. I usually don't write reviews, but I'm writing this review because I want more people to know about this hotel and use it.

The family room is a two-room, highly recommended hotel. Across the street from Carrefour and a coffee shop, breakfast and lunch were easily available. The hotel offers a user-friendly environment, free parking, and a bus service 🚌 directly to the old town. So satisfying, I stayed two nights.

The lady at reception was very kind and willingly helped me with the booking issue. Plus, there's a free coffee machine available on site.

Parking is free. You can walk or drive to the city. The price is quite advantageous.

This B&B is fabulously located downtown although hills and walking are part of staying in Siena. Hosts are very helpful. It is possible to call a cab early morning although we asked our hosts to call for us. It may be possible at other times although the path is very crowded. Otherwise it is about a 15min walk to the bus station and 30min walk to the train station using the free multi-tier escalator...

Great Location! The hotel was such a perfect location! Quiet to sleep, great A/C! The staff was very nice! Place was exceptionally clean!

A fantastic location , excellent view of the baptistery from the room. Right in the heart of the Cathederal complex. Although siena is hilly, the B& B is one level. No lift required. The hosts are friendly and informative of the area.. they sent a video of the location and how to check which was perfect. We did not have breakfast but there is a lovely bar around the corner (Roxy bar) which did...

Great host gave excellent local advice.

The location was great - breakfast was good. The bed was a bit soft centrally to my liking but overall okay.

Hotel is a one block from main square of the city also have a good restaurant around the corner

We loved the central location to the piazza and for restaurants and taxis. The view from the room was of the bell tower and the beautiful architecture. We did eat at the restaurant located behind the B&B for a discount and it was delicious.

This B&B offers a complete unit with two bedrooms, a small kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a front-facing balcony. The excellent amenities were particularly welcome, especially after several days of travel, as we had just arrived in the North following stays in Naples, Sorrento, and Bari. Most importantly, it boasts a fantastic location near Piazza Maggiore.

Simple but effective. At this price, you can't complain. The location is superb.

The hotel has an excellent location, just behind Il Campo.

Room was clean, no complaints. Area is nice, close to historic city center. Rooms are nice. Only one and big problem, mattress was saggy. This is a reason why I reduced property condition to 3 stars.

The location was not convenient to the center of the town. The breakfast buffet was limited and we had to be there at an assigned time.

Great location, quiet neighbourhood 15 minutes walk from the center of the old town. Room was nice size, well appointed, nice bathroom. Breakfast was typical Italian Fair. Only complaint is that the room was dusty in area that is not usually used.

In walking distance to the Piazza: about 8 minutes. We loved the location, the roof top, the patio for which we had our breakfast each morning and the service was excellent!

We loved everything about this hotel! First, our flight into Rome was very delayed, making us arrive in Siena at nearly 1:00 am. We called ahead and spoke with Elena, who arranged for us to be able to access our room so very late (the hotel front desk closes at 10:00 pm). Located on. hilltop west of the old city. Rooftop lounge provides Awesome view, especially at dunset. Historic villa tastefully converted to small hotel. near a bus stop. Only a 15 minute walk to the old city and attractions.

Although called B&B, there was no offer of breakfast. It was a comfortable stay and it was near all the sights. Bathroom had a sensor light and had tendecy to go out when you were having a shower plunging you into pitch darkness if you have the door closed!

I had the room with the private terrace, which was glorious. Room was so clean and the mattress and pillow the most comfortable ever.

The room is clean and the rooms all are located at different points I guess. The address mentioned on the app is the reception office.

I was a little confused because the structure was such that I couldn't check in/out at all after a certain time, but they kindly welcomed me in a situation that could have been a nuisance. It was a really good accommodation that faithfully performed the function of a B&B.

My room is in great condition as well as the bathroom. There is a shared kitchenette with refrigerator. Joy, the manager of the property ,was extremely helpful and available during business hours to provide advice and help with transport although it is a fairly short walk to the bus terminal. Would stay at this place again in the event that I get back to Siena and I do recommend it.

The bathroom and outdoor terrace were nice.

Check in was relatively easy— I ended up calling because the directions didn’t tell us where to go once in building. After that, it was quick. Breakfast is a 5 minute walk to cafe. They have a list to choose from. Room and bathroom was a nice size. 5 min walk to Vatican.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Great location walking distance from the Campo. Plenty of bars and restaurants around. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved this stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and got me taxis etc when I needed them. The room was so comfortable with high tech support for working and relaxing. The meals were absolutely delicious and served with great customer service. This was a gem of a place to stay. The area is also beautiful and has much to offer in terms of a relaxing stay. I would happily go again!

Safe, quieter location with room facing back. No lift. Excellent location to sights and food. About 15 min walk to bus station but further from train station. Check in staff elsewhere - 1/2 block away. Direct drop off door by taxi . In room mini bar and safe, coffee and tea .AC. Large window that opens

You must notify the B and B before arrival but after that the process is easy and the staff attentive. The property is located a few minutes from the main campo and the Duomo. It was comfortable and the area was also nice although all of Siena is equally beautiful. A good place to stay and we would recommend staying a night in Siena as most people some to come as tour groups.

Absoultely love this place! Stayed here two years in a row and will return. Hosts are great! Room is so comfortable and clean. Convenient location!

Fabulous location right next to Piazza del Campo.Pietro had great suggestions for restaurants and sights. He even booked a restaurant for us when we struggled to reserve on line. A great place to stay.

Huge apartment, plenty of space, good kitchen, washing machine, clean and spotless, comfy beds. Did I mention huge space? Right in the middle of the historic city. Note it is on the second floor, so there are stairs. Could do with another sofa in the cavernous living room. Still highly recommended.

The room was excellent, and the entire place, from the hallway to the room itself, was very clean. The self-check-in instructions were clear. The living room was spacious and bright, and the kitchen was fully equipped. The location is great, right near the cathedral, making it convenient to get everywhere. We booked a two-bedroom apartment, and having two bathrooms was extremely convenient.

Adequate basic clean room in a beautiful area.

The room and bathroom are both very large. It is located in the old town of Siena, close to many attractions. It is a few minutes' walk to Piazza del Campo. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel has a small courtyard, which is not large but very beautifully decorated.

Out of all the places we stayed in Italy, this was by far the most satisfying. It's spacious and quite clean, and the bathroom felt like a European deluxe version, which I was very pleased with.

5o stairs up to the door. No elevator. Not good for seniors.

Lovely little spot for a short stay Stayed one night on my solo trip. Could check in early as my room was ready and leave bags after check out. Super friendly host. Very clear directions on arrival. A few flights of stairs to navigate and maybe a bit of TLC needed but a nice little b&b. I’d stay again.

Location is excellent. Interior space has few windows so it’s not the most optimum for relaxing. Fine to sleep

This could have been a disaster. The day started in the bustling European ex-pat town of L'Alfas del Pi with a ride to the Alicante airport, where the Swissair flight to Zurich with our connection to Bologna was an hour late, making us grateful that we only had light carry-on for the now-10-minute connection. Flight to Bologna was a couple minutes early, but the Marconi express was down for the weekend...

What a wonderful and convenient property. They couldn't be more accommodating also. Located inside the city walls and within walking distance to everything. Siena is a must see, and this is the place to stay !!

Great location inside the city, the staff is friendly and everything is nice once you arrive. We were on a road trip , so finding where to park was very difficult, and if you are traveling with big luggage, you will have to carry it six floors by the stairs.

Centrally located for perfection. Flavia and her husband are incredible hosts. They gave great suggestions to enjoy the most out of our stay from a local guide to restaurants to for any budget. Nobile is possibly one of the most beautiful rooms in the entire world (with a surprise sauna too!) Perfect for romance!

Excellent, stayed there in Winter. The view from the upper room is astonishing. Never had a similar experience before.

What an amazing place. We stayed in the top room which had spectacular views of Siena. Breakfast was wonderful and all around the establishment is very well run. Plus, it's in the heart of the city, so it is easy to get anywhere you want within Siena. This stay was a highlight of our trip to Italy.

We had a great time! Luciana is a welcoming and helpful host. Large, clean, comfortable and quiet room. Simple bathroom with all comforts. Perfect location, just outside the historic center within walking distance and close to free parking. All anticovid measures are respected to the letter. We would definitely stay there again!

I spent two nights at The Embroidered Blanket b & b, and it is truly an exceptional place. The very kind and caring owner, the b & b is in an excellent position just a few minutes walk from the historic center. This was beautiful Bed & Breakfast! Luciana, a very helpful and friendly host, let us check in early to our huge, welcoming room. It was a corner room with two large windows. Breakfast was brought up to a room outside our door. This B&B is just inside the Old Town restricted area and is a pleasant walk into the old center of Sienna.

The innkeeper was very rude and less than helpful. I came looking for my mother, a guest at the time, and was treated as though I was interrupting her and came to steal something. Granted, I speak very little italian and she spoke very little english so there was likely much lost in translation. Great experience! The structure is totally renovated, very elegant and well done. Quiet room (back side) and very comfortable. The bathroom is well organized and spacious.
