Quaint spot in Siena
Room was lovely, very clean & spacious. Breakfast was tasty and had many healthy options. Staff were helpful and friendly. I’d definitely stay again. Everything was walking distance as well.

Lovely little spot for a short stay
Stayed one night on my solo trip. Could check in early as my room was ready and leave bags after check out.
Super friendly host.
Very clear directions on arrival.
A few flights of stairs to navigate and maybe a bit of TLC needed but a nice little b&b.

This could have been a disaster. The day started in the bustling European ex-pat town of L'Alfas del Pi with a ride to the Alicante airport, where the Swissair flight to Zurich with our connection to Bologna was an hour late, making us grateful that we only had light carry-on for the now-10-minute connection. Flight to Bologna was a couple minutes early, but the Marconi express was down for the weekend with repair work, and the insufficient replacement buses (reminiscent of the last helicopters out of Saigon) were few and far between, making the 2-hour connection time for the train in Bologna Centrale more like 15' (and we were grateful!). Train to Firenze was ~5' late, but connection there was uneventful, and we arrived in Siena ~12 hours after leaving L'Alfas del Pi. Just as planned. After a little confusion, we found the escalators to the top of the hill (all but 2 were operational; don't know how people did it before, and hats off to the Florentines for conquering the city back in the day). The rain was a little annoying, but travelling light made it so much easier, and while the hosts had left for the night, the instructions they sent (and a video!) made entry to the building and then the facility (there was confusion about which room, but they were available by phone) straightforward. The room was beautiful and comfortable and quiet. No view to speak of, but Siena is full of views, and it was rainy and/or overcast much of the time we were there anyway. Breakfast was simple and mostly self-serve, but did not start until 8:30. Because I didn't reserve early enough, we had to relocate to their sister B&B, Casa Mastacchi, about 75m up the hill, but we were able to go directly to our room there with an escort and put our bags away for the day.

What a wonderful and convenient property. They couldn't be more accommodating also. Located inside the city walls and within walking distance to everything. Siena is a must see, and this is the place to stay !!

Wonderful place
Very nice apartment. I would stay again. Great communication, easy transaction. Apartment was clean, a/c works. Breakfast was lovely, nice spread of various foods to choose from. Very friendly staff. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everywhere. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, in the center and convenient for walking in the heart of Siena. Despite being in the center, very quiet. Quiet and comfortable room. The breakfast was very pleasant: like being at home. There's a really good variety of things available. All the staff were really friendly: the gentleman who welcomed us, the owner and the room service girl. Luggage storage available. Maximum availability also for the arrival time. No waiting. We return to Siena periodically: we will definitely return to this B&B THANKS Erica and Massimo

this is a very nice place. if I ever return to siena, I will stay here. the owners were lovely, and the location is superb, as is the coffee

Everything was perfect... we had an excellent time. The B&B is in the center of Siena. The room was comfortable, very clean, and the different rooms were nicely decorated. The hosts were very welcoming. The home breakfast was truly great. We really enjoy staying . We recommend this B&B.
