Ideal base to explore Siena and surrounding Tuscan hills - easy, cheap and regular local bus service to train station & centre of Siena for stop right outside camp. Mobile home was basic but served our needs as a family of four (including two teenagers). Included a/c that worked well and was very welcome during the hot weather we experienced. Accommodation was clean with powerful shower & plenty of hot water - change of towels available on request. Large decking area that was shaded & pleasant but requires maintenance (as do the outdoor furniture). Both area & furniture were usable and, in no way, spoilt our holiday. Communal toilets & showers were plentiful & clean. Swim caps are compulsory in pool, but, as a result, pool was absolutely spotless and a pleasure to use. Food & drink at pool bar reasonably priced, plentiful & tasty. Staff at pool area could have been a bit more pleasant. Staff at reception, shop & restaurant very friendly and helpful. Restaurant popular with campers & locals alike and offered good choice and was of a high standard and includes takeaway option - we ate there four times within our 8 night stay.

Quiet location with a pool. Very convenient location to visit Siena. The bus to the City Center stops right in front of the entrance. We did not try the restaurant but it looked good. We went there without a reservation as you cannot book for less than 5 days but it was no problem to get a space for a Campervan.

Fab chalet & campsite on bus route into Siena
Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception and bars were all helpful and friendly. Don't be put off by the one pool barman who never smiles - he's just serious about his job! (just make sure to wear your bathing cap....). There was a guitarist singing at the pool bar during one night of our visit which was a highlight for us. I would definitely return and stay here again.

Lovely campsite ideally situated a few kms from centre of Siena. Located opposite the city on top of a small hill, the site is hilly and located in its own little valley. Clearly shaded with good clean facilities, pool, restaurant and bar. Excellent staff on site. Bus links to the city with tickets available in the campsite office and walkable if you can cope with 40 mins hills. 20 down and up. Probably not a great idea in mid summer heatwave mind. Would recommend to all but big camper vans.

A lovely campsite with lots of excellent facilities: modern amenities which are spotlessly clean; a really nice pool area; a restaurant / bar; and small supermarket. The staff are friendly and on arrival will give you all the information you need for a trip to Siena. The public bus picks up / drops off about 100metres from the site and the journey just takes about 15 minutes. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because it’s rather hilly, (if you have limited mobility, I suggest you ask for a site near reception and near an amenities block); plus, although the pitches are spacious, (and ours was also very private in Zone 13), there is hard dirt underfoot and some sites are uneven. However, for a stay to see the city of Siena, I can definitely recommend this site. It’s at the high end of what we’ve been paying on this tour but it does deliver.
