Pool and garden area were great but room fell short of expectation. Ground floor family suite felt dark and drab compared to website photos with tired decor. View of carpark and tiny balcony on service road were disappointing. Air con was only in main room so needed to keep connecting door open to twin room, defeating the point of a 2- bed suite. Hotel provided a fan, which helped. Most plug sockets didn't work. Beds were ok but quite hard and one very hard pillow each. Bathroom surprisingly clean and modern by comparison. Limited bar service from reception until 8pm only. Just felt very overpriced at 300 per night, which is a shame as there were so many good points - fantastic pool, great breakfast, excellent location. We may simply have drawn the short straw in the room lottery.

Great hotel
Lovely hotel, great location easy walk into centre. Breakfast was good, room was very clean.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Bad stay
The gardens & pool are beautiful .
Found the hotel dated & old though , the bedrooms need redocorated & the lights .
Bed was very hard & uncomfotable , the hairdryer, was like something from the 60s , if you stay bring your own hairdryer.
Serviced our room twice in our four day stay, had to ask for towels , & we were given pool towels.
Reception staff were ok , leena was lovely , but one girl was very unfriendly & unhelpful, with blonde hair, should not be working in the industry , made us feel very unwelcome, would not stay there again especially if you are English.
The hotel is not woth the money as the service is poor

We stayed in this lovely hotel for a week as part of our European driving holiday. It's a mid range 3 star hotel in a great position just 5 minutes walk to the lakefront promenade snd a further 10 minutes stroll into the centre of Bardolino. It's on the busy road but we didn't find it a problem at all. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff so friendly and helpful. We requested a balcony room with pool view and that's what we got, even had a glimpse of the lake through the trees! The room was spacious for us, aircon worked well, great bathroom, a fridge and of course that lovely balcony 🥰. My only slight criticism, we found the beds were too firm for us but nothing a mattress topper wouldn't address. Breakfast was a great continental choice plus a couple of hot options, served out on the beautiful terrace by the pool. I agree with the previous review that a separate smoking area on the terrace, would have been of benefit for us non smokers. The grounds and pool were immaculately tended by a lovely chap and there was a good sized carpark at the back of the hotel. We absolutely loved Bardolino, so pretty, such a fabulous atmosphere with so many restaurants and bars we'd need to stay for months to be able to try them all! Well placed for strolling along the lake to Garda town and Cisano and quite regulat ferries to all the other lakeside towns as well. It's also only a 35 minute drive to Verona, a beautiful city, and we were lucky enough to visit the arena for the first opera of the season, Aida, which had been on my bucket list for years! An amazing atmosphere! We had an smazing visit to Lake Garda and would return to Bardolino and the Hotel Ca' Mura in a flash!

We have just returned from a 10 day stay and overall, I'd say this is a good hotel in a good location. We had a 5 yr old with us and the room we had was spacious enough although it was fairly basic. The room was spotless and cleaned every day but we found there was limited storage if you are staying more than 2 or 3 nights especially in the bathroom where there is one very small shelf for all our toiletries. We had a small balcony but it was a side view rather than Lake - some other rooms didnt have any balcony so that was plus at least. The room had air con and it was pretty effective. Breakfast was more than adequate although not a huge offering if you want something other than continental. Sitting in the lovely garden whilst eating was very pleasant. The only negative we found was the amount of people smoking whilst others sitting close by were eating - this seems to be perfectly acceptable in Italy unfortunately rather than having designated smoking areas. There is a decent sized pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas which didnt tend to get that busy. The pool is heated and the gardens surrounding are lovely. Unfortunately there were not many families at the hotel when we visited - Bardolino generally seemed to be 90% couples therefore something to be aware of if you are looking for a family resort. There is a large Spar only 2 mins walk from the hotel and the centre of Bardolino is a 10 min walk (or 15 mins if you go the scenic route via the Lake) - its definitely not more than this as I read in another review ! The hotel has a large car park to the rear and is located on the main road in/out of Bardolino which made it a good base for us exploring Lake Garda.
