Bolero in Sirmione

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Bolero in Sirmione. The hotel has such an authentic Italian atmosphere – truly the real thing. Even though nobody speaks English, communication was never a problem, and it made the experience even more charming. The owners are simply amazing – warm, welcoming, and genuine. The accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is excellent. On top of that, the hotel provides bicycles, which is a perfect way to explore the surroundings. Everything about our stay was just perfect – a real gem in Sirmione.

We returned to this property for the second year in a row. Staying here is like joining a wonderful family, with Signora Teresa being incredibly sweet. Her daughters, grandchildren, and sons-in-law actively collaborate in the business, ensuring everything is always perfect and running smoothly. They are very knowledgeable about places to visit and restaurants. Then there's Pablo, a super cute poodle, who is the hotel's mascot. The pool is always at the perfect temperature and is open until 8:00 PM. The rooms, in a classic style with exposed beams, are cleaned to perfection daily, all with private bathrooms, air conditioning, televisions, and mini-bars. Breakfast, served in the garden, is excellent and offers both savory and sweet options. Special mention goes to the homemade croissants and the oversized cappuccino. During your day at the pool, if you're in the mood, they'll serve your favorite aperitif accompanied by appetizers upon request. You can use the bikes free of charge, and the area is well served by cycle paths to reach the lake (which has beautiful water here) and the center of Sirmione. Great Italian Pensione
Really friendly, family run hotel, just like you imagine an Italian pensione would be! Pool is terrific, rooms are a little small and only 2 have a balcony which is a shame. Breakfast is a great bonus, tasty, home made and fresh. Little awkward to get around by public buses as they always run late but d9 eventually arrive. Overall, a terrific place to stay!

We stayed for one night but would recommend longer. This place is perfectly unique for an authentic Italian stay by the lake. They offer free bikes to use but there is also plenty within walking distance. The staff are so kind and friendly creating a safe and comfortable place to stay while visiting Lake Garda.

Breakfast was very good and nice by a lovely and clean pool. There is a family vibe about this hotel. After all, you are really staying at a family home (hotel rooms are on the 2nd floor while the family lives in the ground floor). Room was clean and very artistic.

This is more than a hotel...it's a wonderful home where you'll be welcomed by kind people like family. They're thoughtful, attentive to their guests' needs, and never intrusive. The rooms are cozy (the bed is spectacular), and the entire property was impeccably clean. The sweet and savory breakfast was excellent, served in the garden next to the beautiful pool. Teresa and her family were the perfect addition to our wonderful weekend, and we can't wait to return!

I loved this stay. Family hotel where you feel at home. Teresa and Arianna were lovely to me. I received all the information for where to go and what to visit (places + shopping + restaurants). I highly recommend this hotel.
