Hotel Marconi in Sirmione

I feel obligated to leave a review of this hotel because of the wonderful attention and treatment of manager and owner Carlo and his wife. A lot of attention to detail and respectful warmth at all times. Being able to drive into the old town with the car and park on the ownership parking is a luxury. Just make sure to call and reserve a spot also so that they can include your car plate in the system. Otherwise at the entrance of the old town you will not be able to enter.

This is definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed at on Lake Garda. Family-run, it’s exceptionally well-maintained and spotlessly clean, with friendly and genuinely warm service. The rooms offer stunning views of the lake, and the hotel’s location near a lakeside restaurant and a park is perfect. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and varied, and the service is fast and attentive. This is my fourth hotel around Lake Garda, and without a doubt one of my absolute favorites. Highly recommended!

Wow! This really is a one of a kind spectacular hotel. Everything from the kind, welcoming and attentive staff, to the views from the private decking at the back of the hotel with direct access to the lake it made this a really special experience. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with homemade pastries and the dinner in the evening was exceptional with a small menu with fresh ingredients that had been cooked to perfection in an incredible setting at sunset making it a meal I will never forget. We stayed in rooms with a balcony which were modern and had good air conditioning and lovely bathrooms. My only regret - only staying here one night, but already thinking about when I can return!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here. From the moment we checked in, the host took the time to personally show us our room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room had a stunning view of the lake and kept the authentic charm of Italy, with a very comfortable bed. It’s worth mentioning that both from the room and the outdoor terrace, we could enjoy the most breathtaking sunsets.

The outdoor area also offered an incredible view of the lake — truly unforgettable. The staff were always so helpful and welcoming, which made us feel right at home.

For breakfast, we were warmly greeted by the host, who showed us a selection of homemade cakes and other breakfast delights. Everything was delicious, full of flavour, and worthy of the finest Italian standards.

The location is perfect — right in the heart of the historic part of the city and just a short walk to the ferry.

I cannot wait to come back to this wonderful place!

I had the best time staying at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and relaxing. Breakfast by the lake was absolutely amazing, and the views were beautiful. The bed was super comfy, the whole place was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back next year! EXCELLENT! Loved this hotel!! Stay here!! The employees were so helpful and kind. It was a fantastic location and the breakfast was amazing. So beautiful to have breakfast on the terrace right by the lake (an amazing spot separated from the busy streets of the town). The hotel was in a fantastic location, close to everything you'll want to see in Sirmione (beaches, ruins, castle, spa, restaurants). The staff were so accommodating with helping us book our Covid tests and also giving us a sweet gift at the end of our stay! They also rented out bikes for free so we could easily go into Colombare. The hotel felt both like a family run hotel and a very high end professional hotel! The room was very nice and comfortable. We even had a little balcony with a view of the water which we did not expect as we payed for the cheapest room! The price was so affordable too! Would so recommend this hotel! :)

Also, would highly recommend staying the night in central Sirmione in general as it is much less crowed in the evening! Would also recommend finding the natural thermal pool (not the aqua spa but just the little public thermal stream that goes into the lake) which is along the lake walkway on the Eastern side of the town (I recommend going at night when it's cooler outside and less crowded). LOVELY TRIP!

Location is perfect. The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are fantastic with an array of the most fantastic home made cakes I've ever seen. I'd go back in a heartbeat
